I just got a glimpse but it appeared her skin was a strange unnatural color. Looked like she had a disease.

She did seem over-the-top dark when I watched her yesterday. While I think a little color is nice, that super dark bronze--whether natural or not--is not a good look IMO.

On a side note, I know women who bake in those tanning beds year-round and are that dark and I think it looks terrible, not to mention bad for your skin. And it just looks unnatural--especially in the middle of freezing winter. It just screams "fake tan" to me.

Now I know JM (well prety sure) is not baking in a tanning bed, but still being THAT dark looks unnatural unless she's on a tropical island of course.

Josie is in some unknown to us tropical island. Maybe below the equator since she is in warm cliate clothes and is so overly tan.

Her color may have been very off due to the camera too. The other night I saw Charles Winston on JTV. He was Skyping in from home. He was totally red/orange. They brought it up right when he popped on the screen and he said he had no idea why the color was so off.

Isn't Josie somewhere in the South of France?

I remember her being in the Bahama's at Christmas but I have no idea where she is located now. She's always dressed in those "warm climate clothes" regardless.......even if she was in the studio in Philly in the winter!!! LOL

Not even close to an expert opinion but I'm thinking it's a mixture of us being used to seeing her on TV when her makeup has been expertly applied and when the lighting is favorable; just can't duplicate that on a computer screen. I would think she's not sunning or even self-tanning, probably using body makeup. I've recently started watching Firefly Lane on Netflix and she reminds me so much of Tully's mom, Cloud. She always looks like she's on some higher plain to me.

I agree with you thought it was my television and this might sound strange but by her last show for theTSV she was starting to look lighter and more like herself.Think she had been using too much of her tanning lotion. Didn't look good .

Think she decided to use her sugar scrub during the day and skin did look better.

She said that she is back in California ,knew she was quarantining in the islands for many of her previous shows since the pandemic started.

I saw a presentation a few weeks ago and the host said Josie was living in Bali - the family went there when COVID-19 beagn.
