NYX will close all stores in Canada

According to the Canadian website Daily Hive:

NYX which is owned by L'Oreal is closing all of their NYX retail stores in Canada and selling via the internet or by other retail stores.

That is bad news for me since NYX stores carry a complete selection of makeup brushes and color makeup while drugstore chains like Shoppers Drug Mart and London Drugs in Canada just carry some of their makeup. London Drugs does carry some of the NYX makeup brushes but they never seem to have a very good selection of have the items in stock. Shoppers Drug Mart doesn't carry their makeup brushes at all since they carry their own drugstore Quo brand of makeup brushes.

I'll have to make a trip to the Metrotown mall in Burnaby, BC which does have a NYX store or wait until I can ever make a trip to Las Vegas again as there's a NYX store in the Miracle Mile Mall.

I'm sorry to hear that. I shopped at a NYX store in Toronto a couple of years ago on a weekend trip and it was fabulous. Was hoping to return in the future.

Sympathy for the workers but not the company. I have received several samples in Walmart Beauty Box and whatever else might still be active. Not happy with any of them, most were lip products.

Figures...one of my all time favorite lipsticks is NYX's Indian Pink. Better stock up now.

I was in the NYX store in the Metrotown mall in Burnaby, B.C. Canada (suburb of Vancouver) on Monday and they still had a lot of inventory and the whole store is 50% off so I got some makeup brushes. I don't know when the store will close for good but I don't think color cosmetics of any brand - not just NYX - is selling very well in a pandemic when people are mostly at home and/or wearing face masks when they do go out.

I kmow Target seems to carry the whole line of NYX. Does Canada have Target stores?

Target left Canada about 4 years ago as they failed in Canada. NYX makeup is available at Shoppers Drug Mart and London Drugs pharmacies in Canada but the selection is not very good at either store. SDM doe not carry NYX makeup brushes and London Drugs does not bother to carry very many NYX makeup brushes nor do they restock them very often.
