Favorite body moisterizer and why?

I bought the Korres TSV and not thrilled with the smell or the greasiness. I don't feel it has done anything great for my dry arms and legs. I like First Aid beauty but it is fairly expensive unless you get a sale. I am not sure the expensive stuff works any better than drugstore. I like products that do not have parabens and mineral oil....I did find an old bottle of Hemp in my cabinet and it smells so good and goes right in but not sure it really is moisturing. Old skin seems to need a lot.

My old skin adores Curell. Sometimes I mix it with coconut oil.

Maybe it's my [mostly] plant-based diet or dry brushing with the Salux every night...but I find I do not need a body moisturizer.

I do like, however, the Alpha (is it 12%) AHAs for hands, elbows, knees & feet. If I need something extra, I use a couple drops of an oil, along with my green tea toner.

Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Lotion.

Not greasy and soaks in.

Good product at a good price and works well for me.

Unfiltered Raw Sugar Blueberry & Thyme Body Butter is my favorite! Very moisturizing & a nice smell.

Vaseline Intensive Care Essential Healing...it's done wonders for my skin, and even helps with my very mild eczema.

I apply it in the shower, before drying off, then pat dry. It absorbs nicely.

I use Philosophy body lotion everyday after my shower. It keeps my skin soft, but it isn't greasy. I use L'Occitane body butter after shaving my legs. It does a great job of keeping them from getting flaky, but it's too greasy to use during the day or on a daily basis.

HI; I love "Everyone" lotion; I use the unscented and I buy it at Whole Foods; light, not in the least bit greasy and you can use it on face, hands and body. Non GMO, cruelty free, synthetic fragrance free etc. Comes in scents that are very light if you like, but I use the unscented. It is around $11 for 32 oz, making this very affordable and also comes in a smaller tube for around $6. I believe the scented ones are made with pure essential oils. I usually buy the body crreams, lotions and body serums made by Isomers, there are several of them, and I like the idea that most of them contain the same ingredients that Manuela uses to fight aging skin on the face. I like knowing there is good skin care in my body cream, and not just oils, and no petro chemicals. Some of the ones mentioned here are mineral oil and petro based.

Another vote for CevaVe.

My moisterizer needs to be more pharmacological rather than cosmetic. All the pretty scents in the world don't help my skin any.

I have so many body moisturizers. I enjoy trying different brands and different scents. I have tried and enjoyed Korres, Perlier, First Aid Beauty, Beekman and many more. If you like First Aid Beauty and trying to find a cheaper version, I think Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream is very similar. I also enjoy the Trader Joe's Coconut Body Butter, in fact, I just bought another jar the other day.

Vaseline Intensive Care works best for me. I have very itchy skin prone to rashes, and this helps more than anything else I’ve tried. I have to apply body lotion twice a day or I notice more itchiness. I apply after showering at night and again in the morning.

I have used the original Vaseline Intensive Care in the white bottle for years. I recently tried the one with aloe which is in a green bottle. I like it too, but it does have a scent like cucumbers but fades quickly. I prefer scent free or very light scent in my skin & body care products.

My favorite to date is Josie Maran's body butters. I have very dry skin and this is the only thing that keeps my skin moisturized all day long. I apply it in the morning before work and I don't apply it again until the next morning.

I have tried countless body lotions, creams and butters including Korres, Beekman and First Aid Beauty and none of them have worked like the JM butters.

I have also tried a ton of drugstore products and they either do nothing or the scents are a turn-off. Even many unscented lotions have a bad scent to them.

I do see that HSN is selling an AHAVA 32oz body lotion on sale today and it has intrigued me.

My two favorites are First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream and Josie Maran Body butter. I wait for a sale/super size or tsv and stock up. This is what works for my sensitive, dry 50+ skin. Hope you get the same good results that I do.

Any Beekman lotion or cream does the trick for me. I also use their hand soaps also at the sink and in the shower.

My old standby, Lubriderm...been using it forever & I'm not allergic to any of it's ingredients etc.so I just love, love, love it!
