Is There A Makeup Product That you Always Go Back To?

For me it is foundation. I have tried lots of different ones the last three years, but I always go back to theBalm tinted moisturizer (BalmShelter). It isn’t too heavy, covers reasonably well and my sensitive skin doesn’t react to it.

I've been using Avon Lip Dew on my lips for 40 years! I hope they never stop making it because it's the best moisturizing stick I've ever used.

Yes! No matter what else I try, or wear occasionally, I always go back to "no" foundation! A nice moisturizer with physical SPF is my go-to. Sometimes these have a trace of tint, but that's okay.

Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation. I wear this only where I need it which is the center of the face and I apply it sparingly. It has such a nice finish, isn't heavy and lasts all day.

L'oreal Million Lashes mascara in the gold tube. I've tried a zillion other mascaras over the years, but always go back to Million Lashes because it doesn't smear or flake on me. Also, I swear by L'oreal's lash primer in the white tube. The primer adds a little umph to my lashes and makes it easier to remove the mascara at the end of the day.

I've used CG's AquaSmooth foundation for about 25 years. I try other foundations, both expensive and cheap, but always go back to AquaSmooth because it gives my complexion a nice finish, it's buildable, and it doesn't get too greasy-looking. It's a plus that it's less than $7 at the supermarket!

Revlon Lustrous Lipsticks. Last hours and hours on me and moisturize my lips.

Reclaim Radiance Illuminating Youth Wand to soften any shadows at my eye inner corners. Alternate- Tatcha the Pearl.

Bye Bye Pores pressed to blur out shine. (No alternates here)

@tototwo - next time you're ready to purchase lash primer, think about trying Essence's lash primer. It's 5.00 and you may even like it better than L'oreal's:

I have used MAC Studio Fix powder foundation for at least 30 years.

I also stick to L'Oreal Double Extend Beauty Tubes mascara. It's the only mascara (including high-end ones!) that doesn't give me "raccoon eyes."

Love, love, love Lancome Progres eye cream. It's a decadent treat and has kept my eye wrinkles at bay for 25+ years.
