Spray On Conditioner

I recently purchased a spray on conditioner (I don't care for regular conditioners because they weigh my hair down). Anyway, directions say to spray on and massage into hair and rinse or leave in. I sprayed about 4 sprays and combed thru and did NOT rinse. My hair ended up with a little body but absolutely beautiful shine. This conditioner is by Mario Badescu which is MADE in the U.S.A. and cruelty free. Still 25% off on his website. I will have to try it the other way with the massage and rinse. Anyone have this spray on conditioner????

yes! but I make my own, just dilute your favorite conditioner with water and put in sprayer. It also works for Day 2, 3 etc. to refresh hair.

I have never tried MB but I too much prefer a spray leave-in conditioner. I have fine, thin, poker straight hair and have an issue with most traditional conditioners because they weigh my hair down.

My conditioner of choice after much trial and error is the Healthy Sexy Hair Soy Tri Wheat Spray Leave-In Conditioner.

I also loved the Aveeno spray leave-in but I believe they discontinued it because I cannot find it anywhere anymore.

I use Wen's replenishing treatment mist for my non cleansing days. It works nicely for me. I always wake up with a total messy head, I sleep a little crazy!

I only use spray on leave in conditioners because traditional types over condition my hair. My absolute favorite is It's a 10 Miracle Spray On Lite (white bottle ). I spray a fair amount onto my hands and work it through my hair. I have long, thick hair. It gives tons of shine and adds body for styling. It's almost $20 for a small bottle but it lasts for months.

I use It's A 10 spray in the blue bottle..love that stuff. It makes my hair very soft. I sometimes switch and use their styling cream instead of the spray. Wonderful products!

I use an Aveda leave on conditioner called Damage Remedy but it it is a cream not a spray. I have trouble with products weighing down my hair and this does not. I don't use ton of it however. Been using it for years.

I have been using the one from Tweak'd for a few weeks now and I love it. Smooths out my hair but gives it body. It's very lightweight. I have used It's a 10 before but I find it muich heavier. Good if you have a lot of damage though.

that is a really good idea I have never thought about doing! My hair is very fine so I can never leave any conditioner on except for about 30 seconds, then I rinse it out. Lately I have been using a spray-on conditioner that I bought for my granddaughters to use here....it is J&J and smells like fruit, but it works great on my hair!
I will have to think about diluting my own conditioner and spraying but I would have to rinse it out?

I use both a rinse-off conditoner and then a spray leave-in. The spray I use is called Texture ID Moisturizing Conditioner that I get from Sally's. Someone mentioned during the lockdown they thought it had been discontinued and someone else "verified" that it had. Story of my life. Anything I like goes away. When the stores opened back up I went to Sally's hoping that maybe they would have a bottle since they had been closed. The girl said she thought it was their last bottle. I mentioned to her about it being discontinued and she said she didn't know about that but that they had a hard time keeping it in the store because it was so popular. That makes me wonder if it actually has been discontinued. Well, at least I have more time to find something new.

I avoid silicones, and many of those products, incuding the Tweak'd has them, so wouldn't be for me.

About puttng a rinse-off conditioner in a bottle, adding water, and using it as a leave-in. If it's a protein conditioner you don't want to do that. Too much protein in your hair will cause it to become brittle and break off.

I don't use conditioner after shampooing, but I do take about a small pea sized amount of it in my palms & rub my hands together & then run them thru my towel-dried damp hair & comb it thru before I blow dry. It's just enough to tame the fly-aways & static, but not enough to gunk up my hair.

I appreciate all of the products being mentioned here.

I never thought about using a spray-on leave-in conditioner before, until a hair stylist recommended one to me that I have been using lately.

It has been great especially when my ends have been feeling a bit dryer and more fly-away.

I have been using a product made by Regis Salons. They have their own product line of hair products.

If anyone is not familiar with them, they own the salon chains of Regis, Cost-Cutters, and Super Cuts.

This product is from their Olive Oil line of products and is called "Evoo Lite Olive Oil Leave In Conditioner." It is sulfate-free.

It also contains Kalahari melon extract.

It's made for all hair types.

My hair is a combination of fine, thin, and wavy-curly, especially towards the ends.

I tend to wear it about shoulder-length, and was planning on getting it cut back in February, but that didn't happen.

So, it is a bit longer than I like it right now.

A 6 oz. bottle cost somewhere between $12-$15 dollars?

It's light-weight, gentle, and doesn't weigh your hair down. It also has a pleasant scent to it, from the olive oil in it.

I have also been using the Olive Oil shampoo and conditioner in the same line of products, too.

When I use the products or the conditioner, my husband will comment on how clean and fresh my hair smells, as I let my hair air dry.

You spray a few pumps of the leave-in conditioner and mist it on to your hair, and then comb through and style as desired.

What I personally prefer to do is to pump about 3-4 small pumps on to the palm of my hand, and then gently run it through my hair, focusing on the middle of my hair, on down to the ends, and on the ends where it's especially dry.

My hair is thick. I use rinse out conditioner in the shower, but I also use spray on leave in conditioner before blow drying. I use John Frieda Frizz Ease Daily Nourishment Leave-In Conditioning Spray. It’s in a purple bottle & found at most beauty, discount, & drug stores.

@San Antonio Gal I did, but even so, if it has been discontinued it would only be delaying the inevitible. The bottle I have should last me quiet awhile and give me some time to do some looking around. Who knows? Maybe it was just that they stopped manufacturing it during the pandemic.

@Kabella I started with the blue bottle and somewhere along the line I switched to the white (Lite). You are right the softness, there's no other products like it. I also like that there's never any build up with these products.

I use Its a 10 miracle in the blue bottle or Redken United 25 if it is on sale. My hair is wavy and thick, here in the Mississippi heat it can take on the chia pet look if not tamed!

I use infusium spray in condition [it stays in you don;t rinse ]I use this after I wash and condition my hair .

@twinkies I used Infusion years ago. It was/is an excellent conditioner. Lightweight. I'm on a kick with Mario Badescu since I am loving with moisturizer so I decided to try other products. It's fun to have products with color for your face. Makes it interesting.
