topic Hm.... Not sure about Mally's Pore Defender. What else to try? in Beauty

I've been trying Mally's Pore Defender for about a week. Combo skin, sensitive, early 40's, very fair. The product feels a little strange on (the silicone maybe?) but works pretty nicely. My problem is the strange texture and the fact that my uneven skin tone really shows around my nose. It's almost like the Pore Defender takes off my makeup in that area.

I'm kind of searching for something to blot the oily T-zone area. Not sure the Pore Defender is for me. Previously, I was using Laura Mercier's Matte Translucent Powder (looks green in the compact). It's kind of "powdery" looking, though.

Anybody suggest another product that works wonders?
