I currently wear my hair in a nice nutmeggy (NO maroon) red, with some heavy (Chunk) blonde highligts. Since I will be doing the coloring myself and am a COMPLETE NOVICE, I'm willing to forgo the highlight for now, cuz I think it might be more complicated that I can handle... if I can just have a nice warm red color, I'll be a happy girl.
