TSV Grey Wig! I tried one on before making my final decision to go natural. If you have an inch or more of grey roots, give it a shot and see how it looks. Returnable!!!

A few years ago my hair was shoulder length and streaked blonde. One day while sitting in the chair,I decided to stop the coloring and have my hair cut short----very short.

Haven't regretted it. BUT NOW I REALLY NEED A HAIR CUT AND SO DOES DH!!!

Trimmed my bangs and they look ok,but.......

DS told me to have DH use a bowl and cut my hair or use our dog clippers. I said no to either idea.

Another thought: when this is over the wait lists will be long.

Forgot to add I let it go grey. So now it looks grey streaked. And I like it.

It's silver mixed with mostly white. The silver is the part that hasn't gone all white yet. The whiter shade is from hair line to crown to 1/2 down the back and then mixes w/ silver. The purple shampoo makes it look kinda blue. Stylist told me to use a clarifying shampoo once a month to get out all styling products, buildup. I just use the original drugstore Neutrogena Carifying Shampoo.

Hair is hip length? Just looked down where MY hip is!!! I just could not handle that much hair...even washing it and waiting for my curls to dry. How do you wear it? Just a suggestion, but one of the friends who went grey with me had hair to the middle of her back.

Once the grey grew out to reach into a high pony or loose bun, she was home free with no short haircut. It looked fine all grey and the ponytail wrapped into bun w/ some grey and other shades of lighter brown. Eventually she cut her hair to shoulder length to get rid of all damaged hair caused by coloring, highlights and is now all grey and loving it.

I stopped coloring my hair in 2012 when I was going thru breast cancer---and I was bald for about 5 months--- but when my hair grew back it was a nice shade of brown with grey highlights in it and really is a very nice color--still is today. Have been told by my several hair stylists, that the color is beautiful and not to do anything with it. So I don't--but so need a hair cut!!!!!!!

Have been told by my several hair stylists, that the color is beautiful and not to do anything with it. So I don't--but so need a hair cut!!!!!!!

@wagirl So happy you're doing well and have your hair back so you can make those decisions. Sometimes I forget those who don't have that choice. Congrats. 🌸

Had 3 wigs while going thru chemo that were fantasic styles and colors but donated them to the hospitals cancer store---wish I kept just one of them. there wasn't my true color, brown and grey, soordered the light brown. Will report back when I get it.

I have Bumble Bumble dry shampoo and picked up a drug store brand last outing. Even the cheap brands that tend to go white don't matter when going grey. I spray it in before bed, rub it in real good. By morning, any oils have been "sucked up" and style is returned w/ a slight brushing.

I'm lucky that I don't have to worry about gray too much. I last had my brunette hair colored in early November and had face frame highlights at the time. I need to have it done as now the highlights are getting lower and I can suddenly see a few grays starting to sprout on the top.

My hair is straight and I have it cut in a layered bob but it's going to go too flat on top if I can't get it cut soon....I'll have to see what I can do at home within the next moth or so.

I'm assuming none of us will receive an invitation to anything resembling the Met Gala. Judging by the sites in the food stores of roots, unruly cuts, no makeup, masks, gloves and scarves...don't know about you, but even un-coiffed, I'm way ahead of the game. I'm not going to chop at my hair and make a mistake that will take months to grow out when my stylists makes her attempts.

When I get out of here, have so much to do...Yipee just thinking about it...my hair is the last thing on my mind. As long as my underwear is clean and car has gas, I'm gone!!

I've always colored my hair using Loreal Excellence. I have decided to not color it again until this crisis is over. My hair cutter has always told me that my grey will not be pretty (like my mother's). So this is a good time for me to see what it looks like.

I'm not thinking about it, but it is happening nonetheless. Fortunately my hair is curly and a very light brown, so it isn't as startling as it could be.

The first time I feel comfortable going out and businesses are open again (which I fervently hope is not prematurely allowed), I will see my stylist for my regular root color and trim.
