Josie Maran's Mega Size TSV unscented smells yucky.

I love her argon products, but this last TSV I didn't like any of the scents so I ordered the unscented. It smells like stinky chemicals. Also, the body butter and serum are not moisturizing as the ones I have had before.

I had her lavender body butter last year and it was excellent it smelled wonderful and was drenched in argon oil. My skin felt much more moisturizing. The body serum doesn't do anything for me.

For the first time, I am thinking of returning a Josie product.

Did it come with a seal or an inner covering? I thought she might be sealing her jars by now.

@Squirrel Lover Well that is disapointing! I have had no problems with the TSV. I did however have a problem with Argan Oil that I purchased from the Sephora's Vib Sale. It was rancid. I returned in store & picked up one in stock & it was fine.

@Harpa Mine did not come sealed but only it had tape on the jar of Body Butter. I am on other sites & alot of ladies were disapointed with the wh. Hibiscus but no mentioned of a bad batch of the unscented. She need to seal those butters. ETA. Problems with storage also it seems.

@Squirrel Lover I like the Body Milk but imo. better suited for the warmer months for any skintype.

I received mine as a gift from my husband. I ordered the unscented and I love mine. I have been a Josie fan since she first presented on the Q. What I will say since she sold her company the body butters are not as rich with argon oil or as thick. But for me, I am very happy with this TSV.

Maybe you can find some type of oils you like the scent of and add some drops to the body serum and shake it very well?
I assume you can even do the same to the body butter if you can get in there and mix it up real good, just a thought

I don't like the unscented body butter, it has a scent that I don't care for. I use the divine drips they smell nice and are not overwhelming

I don’t see anywhere about her company being sold. Tatcha was sold to Unilever, but I still see that Josie owns her company.

I am on waitlist for the WTH. I think I've seen one positive review -- maybe 2 -- for that fragrance. Everybody else seems to hate it. I am thinking about cancelling.

I love fragrance but always buy her products UNscented. I've never had an issue, but it's possible a bad batch got out, or some were not stored properly. That can happen with any line. I've purchased lipsticks that smelled rancid and returned. The same with food. I've returned items that my nose told me should not be consumed !

Some sizes are, some aren't. It can be very confusing because it's consistent across sizes, but not across the product line.

She did not sell her company and I've also been using her products for many years and have seen no such change.

The body milk's biggest difference is that it's an exfoliant (lactic acid) and the benefits show up over time. It's not supposed to moisturize skin the same way as the body butter.

I have Keratosis Pilaris, which causes rough and bumpy skin and redness. The condition is helped with moisture, but an exfoliant and a moisturizer make the most difference. I get great results when I layer the Body Milk and the Body Butter and there's a noticeable difference in the texture and color of my skin when I use both.

I ordered the Vanilla Pear and I love the scent. It smells just like a fresh pear. Very pleased that she gave us mega sizes.

I am on waitlist for vanilla pear. I usually get unscented, but I've been hearing about vanilla pear forever. I hope it comes, and it's more pear than vanilla.
