Anyway I have dark blonde hair with gray coming in, so I went to have my gray done and some highlights also. I told her I did not want yellow tones and to color gray a dark blonde. So when it came time to rinse out, she said the highlights were to white so she wanted to use a toner. (which is an extra 15.00), next she used a purple shampoo to get rid of yellow tones ! What I am wondering is why she did not use the right shades in the beginning instead of having to do such correcting in the end? Has anyone else had this happen or is this just normal? I am now thinking she really just did not know what she is doing and finding a new salon.
