New makeup line from Victoria Beckham.

She definitely took her time making this happen.

Her palettes were used in her Spring Summer 2020 show.

She mentioned on IG that her eyeshadow packaging has

a weighty feel to it. Pretty colors.

Thanks for posting @sidsmom . Those palettes look so rich looking. I'm sure they're highly pigmented and apply like silk. I'd love to try one of them, but $54 is a little steep. But if it's high quality and lasts a long time, it could be worth it.

What do you think of the line?

If her prices are high then her target market is for the wealthy women. I wonder if she will have a full beauty line. I visited her website and some of the subject matters do not open (skin) (lips). interesting. This is a smart woman that turned her career around from being a singer in a group to a designer of women's clothes and making tons of money.

I don’t wear much makeup anymore...honestly?

Never really did but I appreciate the pretty colors &

the creative process behind any brand, no matter who it is.

Victoria Beckham has quietly built her brand to be respected

by many.

Dare I say (!), I foresee her brand to be long-standing, maybe

not iconic like Chanel, but definitely along those lines.

Just a quality, quiet elegance for generations ahead.

I often wonder about makeup such as this and other prestige brands. Does it cost so much more that the prices are inflated, or are we pretty much paying for the name?

She was under contract with the Estee Lauder Corporation so I wonder if this is another spin off from Lauder or if she actually went solo? Her lines for Lauder ALWAYS sold out in a matter of days so maybe Lauder decided to fund her but stay quietly in the background (just like the Jo Malone line).

Not a fan at all. I don't like eyeshadow pans that put all the shades into one pan instead of creating individual pans as colors can run into each other. The neutral colors are fine. I don't wear heavily pigmented shadows or shades that contain red and purple as they tend to emphasize dark circles under my eyes.
