Years ago before Maureen sold Tarte my favorite line. Tried to use several items couple years ago allergic reactions ended my love affair.

Remember when the packaging was beautiful looks childish now.

We can agree to disagree. In my opinion having used the line previously indeed the packaging looks cheap. No! Wouldn't gift to anyone.

The TSV is nice for gifting. I use a number of Tarte items and I can say with confidence none of the quality or packaging has gone down hill over the years. The eyeshadow palettes are in heavy and pretty cases and their shadows are so great. I like the blushes, lipsticks, foundations, and concealer too. They have started marketing heavily to a much younger crowd in recent years, and have some cutesy packaging as a result. A lot of cosmetic companies are doing this now (Too Faced especially). As long as it’s not ALL cutesy stuff specific for teens and 20- somethings I’m fine with it.

I purchased the two tubes of Foundation with the Brush. I used many years ago, with no issues, except for the limited shades they offered back when...I had to buy two and mix. Hoping for better results now. It did look like there were some shades that were not yellow undertone based.

Not holding my breath, but hoping....

When Maureen owned the company I use to buy Tarte products. Since selling, I find for me, the quality just isn't there. I can't recall the last time I bought anything from this line.

Why surprised? Bobby Brown's many favorites vanished and quality once praise worthy no longer the case. Happens all the time. Gee, Hopefully Josie Maran never sells! aleast while I'm still living. From my lips to God's ears.

@Shanus, thanks! I’m curious about that foundation, may check it out at Sephora later today. Those palettes and glosses will be nice stocking stuffers for my nieces. The palette that’s in the 2nd AD looks interesting.

Just in case, some of these products are not full-size. The Remix lip-glosses are only .08oz and a full-size is .2oz. The TSV mascaras are .1oz each while a full-size mascara is .24.

There have also been complaints in the past that the Tarte pallettes are not the same quality as the regular shadows, blushes, etc.

I miss having the maracuja oil bottle in that little bamboo-ish container.

I'm glad I saved the one and only one I ever got. It holds eye-makeup brushes.

QVC is STILL misleading us by showing that container in the product photos.
