Beekman pricing

I have ordered a few things from Beekman on Q and I really like their products.

You can imagine my surprise when I walked into my privately owned pharmacy in my small town (not a chain pharmacy) and found Beekman products for sale. What really surprised me is that the prices were the same as the Q for bar soap, lip balm, hand cream, hand/body wash. I was shocked expecting their prices to be higher being they are a small store. Of course with no shipping it is cheaper for me to purchase from them. Q has deals of course of products grouped together such as the TSV. and they have a larger assortment of scents and products but shouldn't their prices on the items mentioned above be cheaper because of the volume they sell? Happy I found their things in my own backyard and I can support them! I should note my little pharmacy has a gift shop area and that is where I found the Beekman products.

Someone had mentioned in a previous thread that there is another line called Goat Milk Stuff. Supposed to be just as good and less expensive. I have not looked it up yet but just thought I'd pass it along.

@LindaSalGuaranteed there are other goats' milk brands. More than a decade ago, Cracker Barrel was using a goats' milk hand soap in their bathroom dispensers. I know it wasn't Beekman's.

@Catch71As far as prices go, I've always found I do better at QVC with their kits than with individual items -- so long as I actually use all of what's in those kits. When I want one of something, I pretty much always buy locally where prices are similar and I', supporting people I live amongst - either owners or workers. All the same to me.

Even Anazon appears to be pressuring its vendors to move away from selling small, individual items - all the packaging sizes interferes with their automated shipping plans.

@Catch71 @I found beekman products on the B.C. ferries.I think their stuff is mainstream.

HSN usually offers better pricing and carries more products. If you sign up for emails, you can use the periodic 20% off coupons to buy an individual Beekman product with free shipping.

My only must have items are the soaps and I prefer triple milled, so not interested in most other brands.

I agree with a previous poster....check out HSN for Beekman products! Better selection and often better deals.

HSN is the place to buy Beekman. Much more selection, better prices and often free shipping which is huge for me.

Thanks everyone for your suggestions. I was thrilled to see them locally so I could smell the different scents offered. There was one in particular that I got to smell which I liked; think it was called Sweet Grass (not perfumy smelling at all).

I tried the soap and body cream and I really like both, and yes, hsn has way better deals on this line. I’m holding off to see if it starts showing up in my local Marshalls store.

@LindaSal Yes... Goat Milk Stuff is a small family farm in Indiana. I've purchased from them numerous times. I LOVE their soap as well (and Beekman bar soaps) and their lip balms are wonderful (I prefer the ones in the orange tubes).
