Question About Eyebrow Waxing

I live in NYC but do all my shopping and such in Nassau County. I was just wondering around how much should an eyebrow waxing cost ( I'm sure it varies from city to city)? There is an Ulta near me, they have a Benefit Beauty Bar and charge $22, I thought that was kind of pricey. Also do you tip 20% or 25%?

Columbus, Ohio. Cost is $23.00 at salon, same at Waxxpot.

Chicago.....north suburbs.....$22.....I tip her $5 because I have been going to same gal for several years and like her....not cheap for eyebrow service but treat for me.

I go to a small business owner in the DC area and an eyebrow wax is $15. I would be willing to pay $25 because she knows what she's doing! I also tip $5.

I pay $25 + $5 tip at a salon in suburban Minneapolis. I have one normal eyebrow, and one that is incredibly wonky. She works on that brow for at least 10 minutes more than the other one. Major treat for me.

We charge $12 - $16 in suburb of Dallas and I always tip for service. I like good service and appreciate kindness.

Just FYI beware of any products used on you and sanitation. Yes, there’s still some double dipping going on.

Mine too $10.00 best results. When I decided to stop doing my own from over plucking, she was the one who helped me achieve full beautiful eyebrows.

My salons will tweeze or thread, but not wax if you’re a regular Retin A user. It can peel off and/or redden a layer of skin even w/ cooler wax.

I go to a small Nail Salon in my local mall, and have been going to the same lady for several years now, and she only charges me 20.00 for eyebrows, upper lip and chin...I tip her very well because I know that is a great bargain.

Unfortunately she is going to retire soon, so I will have to find someone else and probably pay much more....At my local Ulta for everything that I mentioned above, I had to pay 55.00 once when my lady was out sick! So 22.00 doesn't sound too bad...

My hair salon charges $15. I stopped one day at a nail salon at the mall. $8. I tried it there she did a nice job. Going there now vs my salon. I still tip $5.

I'm the OP, I was just wondering is threading better than waxing? I have never had my eyebrows threaded, is it less painful? Is one better than the other? I'm thinking threading has over taken waxing, I could be wrong.
