Help: spray fragrance stopped spraying

I have a large bottle of Philosophy Amazing Grace spray parfum that no longer sprays. The bottle is only half empty. Does anyone have an idea how to fix this? I can remove the spray attachment but not the entire apparatus (I hope that makes sense). The bottle is the same as the one in this TSV.

I've had that happen on other sprayers. I usually just remove the white nozzle and run it under hot water or let it soak for a while. It's usually just a bit gummed up.

Worth a try.

@Wobin , suggestions found via Google suggest running the sprayer under hot water or using a needle to unclog the sprayer hole(s).

Running under hot water helped somewhat but still have to pump many times to get a little out. I have contacted Philosophy via facebook and am waiting for a response. Someone else mentioned it on their facebook page so it maybe the quality of the spray mechanism.

Philosophy responded with a phone number for me to call for a replacement. I will be curious what they tell me about taking this one off.

@Wobin- Thanks for coming back to update us on the response you got from Philosophy. Let us know what they say!

I've always had good luck with just using hot water (and sometimes a pin to clear that tiny little hole), but it can take two or three goes with the hot water to get it clear. Then every once in a while I'll clean it again, before it clogs up.

No kidding! There seems to be a YouTube video for everything these days. It is a go-to for me these days.

@Wobin It is most likely a mechanism problem. I would call customer service as you probably will get a quicker response. If all fails, & you are now getting some squirts by constantly pumping, this is what I would suggest. You can purchase a Travalo Atomizer. You just take the spray top off & pump with the Travalo. There are youtube video's you can watch. The pumping with the Travalo will most likely work for you. You can purchase at Sephora. I believe Ulta has one but a different brand that I don't have. HSN might still sell them in sets which I have purchased. I use them to decant for travel or in my purse. Good Luck! . Edit to add. the pumping mechanism on the travalo is great since it fills up quickly. Might take a bit more time on your bottle but worth giving it a try.

Good news from Philosophy--they are sending me a replacement bottel of eau de parfum! I called the customer service number this morning and told them of the situation. The lady at Philosophy asked for some information and then said they would send me a new one. I asked how to take the old sprayer off and she said they are sending me a replacement bottle of fragrance. The sprayer is soldered on and can't be removed. That's more than I expected.

My fav is Amazing Grace EDT. I wear it everyday over AG lotion.

@KabellaI received the Travalo from Amazon today and it will take a looong time to fill from this bottle. I will work on it and take this little atomizer to the gym. Thanks for the suggestion.
