Does anyone have the SimpleHuman Mirror?

I am tempted to buy the Simple Human lighted mirror that is the Todays Special Value. Does anyone have these mirrors? Is it worth the money? It is costlier than any mirror I have ever bought. Ive tried makeup mirrors from Walmart and from Kohls and had to return, the light was not good at all!!!

I’ve had mine for over five years and love it. Bought at bed bath and beyond for $199 less 20% without the 10x piece. Also have their trash can in my kitchen. These are lifetime purchases from a fabulous company.

yes, I have one I got it last year on Prime Day, and it looks like this might be a good deal as they included the added 10x mirror

that said the price might be the same if you can use a coupon at Bed Bath Beyond or even just go there and check it out today and see if you like it.

the charge lasts a long time

I have it. It's a mirror. I bought it from the Q. I don't find it better than any other mirror. Go to T.J. Maxx and pick up a mirror there - cheaper and more variety - or try simplehuman on eBay.

If you have a Bedbathandbeyond near you, they sell this mirror. SimpleHuman is an expensive brand.

Years ago I purchased a Floxite mirror on QVC. It was excellent...10x magnification and Daylight lighting. I won’t recommend anything other than the daylight. All others are much too yellow in lighting and worthless. It has lasted at least 10 + years. While QVC still carried this brand, I bought a backup one because I had not seen anything of this quality anywhere. Although the TSV looks interesting, I personally could not justify the price. I suggest checking on line to see if you can find a Floxite daylight 10x magnification mirror. They are probably around $70.00. You will not be disappointed.

Simplehuman announced last January that they will be debuting their new smart mirror w/google assist in spring '20. The total package will cost $700. Just the mirror part is $400 and the Google assist is extra. The ultimate device for the ultimate narcissist, imo.

I have a beautiful 10x mirror that I bought on sale at CVS. I would never pay that kind of money for a mirror...mine cost me 45.00 and it works great. Shop around I'm sure you can find a suitable mirror for less...

I have to say I have a Simple Human trash can as another stated and I love it! It is very nice and high quality so I imagine all their products would be. I think I would check Amazon first though as you may not have to pay tax and shipping fees. I bought a different model mirror for $99.00 a year and a half ago. Luckily my husband is handy and fixed the switch inside as it had become loose and stopped working shorty after purchasing.

I solved this problem 2 years ago when I had cataract surgery. I can now see every tiny line and discoloration with only a conventional mirror. And a 10X magnification? No thanks!!

Mombo1, yes, crazy, but the Floxite mirror you suggest is NOT wireless. If it were I'd be tempted. What I like about this simple human mirror is NOW they offer it with a 10X magnification which is tempting.

Just to be clear...THE 10X MIRROR IS A SMALLER MIRROR that you attach to the bigger mirror. The small 10X mirror in the center comes off.

Thought about getting it but I don’t have a dressing table or vanity or whatever to sit down and put on my makeup. I wonder how many people sit to do their makeup. I stand in front of my counter/sink in my bathroom. And I am certainly not going to drag my makeup into my kitchen or dining room to sit!

The 'deal breaker' for me is I was told by simplehuman customer service you can't 'break down' the mirror to put in a drawer or suitcase!! Who wants this inconvenience for $150.00? It was sounding tempting. But to not be able to disassemble the mirror from the base to store is a lack of thought in engineering.

@Peridot, the two things that tempt me about this mirror is the detachable 10X mirror and that it telescopes. I just checked and it telesopes from 15.1" to 18.1", so there's 3 inches of play. The host and vendor are both standing and using it. The downside, besides price, is that it, or any other mirror I get, would have to be stored in the cabinet underneath my vanity because my vanity is so small.

I have it and LOVE it! I bought it last year from Nordstrom anniversary sale and this TSV is a better price and deal with that extra 10x mirror. I would love to have that extra 10x mirror. This is a great mirror for putting on your makeup! I won't be without it. Purchase with no buyers remorse at all.

The last year when this was a TSV I took a trip to BBB to compare Simple Human/Floxide/Conair, etc. I really wanted to see if there was a difference and the amount of light it cast. I have to say that I was impressed with the Simple Human but still could not justify that price in my budget. I found the Floxide mirror to be a bit too bright for me but I have allergies and migraines so that is probably a factor. I purchased a Conair. I'm happy with it because it fit my budget. Since then I have purchased a Floxite travel mirror because sometimes I'm putting my makeup on in the bathroom and not at my vanity. The travel mirror works great and was very budget friendly.
