Mascara Comparison: Too Faced or Benefit?

I have used & ❤️ Benefit’s They’re Real Mascara. I’ve tried other brands over the years but have always gone back to They’re Real. Recently, I’ve tried some Too Faced products, but not the mascara. Anyone here tried both Too Faced & Benefit? If so, how do they compare?

I can't tell you about Too Faced but I do like Benefit's "They're Real" mascara a lot.

I've tried many brands recently along with many mascara primers. My favorite primer is Shiseido Mascara Base which I've used for years and kept a curl in my lashes has been discontinued!!!...so sad! I just ordered Benefit's "Roller Lash Curling & Lifting" mascara hoping for the magic lift that I need.

My lashes are so straight they don't lift up even with an eyelash curler. Keeping my fingers crossed that this new to me Benefit mascara does the job!

I have tried both and I prefer Too Faced Hands Down. I get a much better coverage and longer wear with Too Faced compared to any other mascara I've tried (Smashbox, UD, benefit, IT, etc.)

The Better Than Mascara was the first Too Faced product I tried and that led me to try other products from the line. I use the foundation and eye shadows, don't care for the Lip products.

The only one I’ve used is Benefits They’re Real mascara and want to try other mascaras from that line. Love it. Started off with the mini and loved it!!

I don't like Benefit's They're Real Mascara too much, but love Benefit's Roller Lash and Too Faced's Better than S*x mascara. It all depends on what type of lash you like. Too Faced has a much fatter brush than Benefit's. It gives you fluffier lashes, but is a little harder to use. I actually like to use both of them together - the Benefit first and then the Too Faced after.

I've tried They're Real from Benefit and Better Than Sex from Too Faced. I hated them both.

They're Real is very hard to remove IMO. Plus, I am a brush purist with my mascara. I hate those newer plastic bristle wands. I want the old-fashioned wands on my mascara.

As far as BTS from Too Faced, I loved the sample/trial size I received in a kit. However, when I purchased a full-size, I didn't like it at all. It seemed very, very different which I know is odd. The full size seemed dryer and just didn't nothing for my lashes.

I use both. I prefer they’re real. It goes on so easily and makes my lashes really pop. Better than sex gives a dramatic look but it can be a bit messy and takes more time t achieve the perfect lashes. On a work day, I just don’t have the time!

I'm another one that thinks the full size product often does not live up to the performance of the sample size. It Cosmetics is a prime offender. Benefit's T hey're Real, I have in both sizes and they do seem the same. Its hands down my favorite brand. I have been known to leave this on overnight and wear it the second day if I'm just hanging around the house. It will not flake or turn into racoon eyes.

I'm a "Better than Sex" fan. Have been using for a couple of years now. Have recommended it to my co-workers and they love it too. I find it easy to use, the mascara is nice and wet and goes on nicely. I usually don't wear eye shadow so find that the mascara is not too dramatic for me.
