I was wondering today where Gabrielle has been lately........

OMG QVC has definitely lost its mind sending such a great

and well liked QVC host to the land of the lost to the Beauty IQ Channel.............................Courtney C. never returned when they sent her there....................and Katie M. is now reduced to a online co host for Jill B..........???

If it's something Gabrielle wants to do, I am happy for her.

I do think Gabrielle is wonderful with fashion and accessories, so I will very much miss her there. I thought she was very good on the Saturday morning AM Style on QVC2.

Maybe in time Gabrielle will be back doing fashion and accessories?

I don't watch the Beauty channel...and moving a favorite host there will not change that.

@kelsey17 Many of us don’t even get Beauty IQ, so it is truly the kiss of death to be sent to the “third channel”!!!

You make it sound like sending them to the basement sales in dept. stores , remember them , the lower grade product area. QVC really needs to take charge of Beauty IQ , it is an excellent oportunity for them , but they make it look amateur produced , like it is You Tube on a budget. Get them a slick set, high end lighting and push to have it it HD.

I'm watching the Guerlain show with G right now. I think G is a great host and maybe this skin care gig will be her thing. I don't notice that she sounds like Minnie Mouse on this show. I think she needs to be careful she doesn't get too excited because it seems that's when the high squeaky voice come out. I wore Shalimar when I was in my 20's and liked it.

I feel particularly bad about Katie M’s downfall. It is sad when competance, knowledge, manners, calmness and likability are not enough to accomplish the financial goals set by your employer. I wish her a successful future.

Well, that explains where some of my favorite hosts went.... Drats! I really miss Gabrielle on the early-morning fashion shows! She was calm and explained every item perfectly for me. Miss her and Katie together. I was just starting to like Courtney when she disappeared.

I find some of the QVC hostesses to be loud and obnoxious and I won't watch any show they're on - I don't care what they're selling. I wonder if QVC trains them to be that way?

@MW in Iowa Beauty IQ is not a needed channel...There are beauty shows adnauseum (sp?) on the other 2 channels and also on every fashion show. Overkill IMO. I don’t think they’re putting their dollars there mainly because, like me, many do not receive this channel, have to watch on a computer or through special other channels on TV. Really not worth it when all the same things are available to see on You Tube.

@SilleeMee Nothing terrible, just using her less, losing her morning program, and being the media person for another host. I didn’t mean to give the impression it was more,sorry.

I haven't watched QVC for years but I remember Gabrielle being a wonderful presenter of jewlery when she first began on QVC a while back. She became very popular very quickly. You could tell that she loved doing it and was a big jewlery collector herself. I guess jewlery is not as big on QVC since the big price increase of gold a few years back. I saw a video of Gabrelle presenting something a few days ago and I hardly recognized her. I hope she does well.
