Hello ladies.... first time on the beauty boards. I got samples of pro-collagen marine cream with a few orders. I have used it twice now and my skin feels much smoother and tighter. Maybe tighter isn't the right word but it feels greaat. Could this be my imagination or is it really that good? Thinking of ordering it.

I don't know how old you are, but for me at 68 all these serums, creams, lotions and potions work about the same . I have good looking skin from using these products, but gravity is not my friend. The only product from Elemis that I can us on my face is the eye creme.I am very sensitive to perfumes and some essential oils and the Elemis cream you mentioned has something in it, I think it's rose oil that is too strong for me. I can actually taste it.

I have that cream as part of the recent Elemis TSV. It's an ok cream, but I haven't seen any skin tightening benefits from it. I'm 60 and have very good skin, but tightening would certainly be a benefit I would like. All of the products in the TSV are highly fragranced which I don't like, but at least it dissipates.

I don't expect much from serums, creams, so for me if I see "tighter", I would tend to think it was my imagination, I work on diet, exercise, stress reduction and sleep. Then I add products that are cruelty-free, not high-end pricing, and have a proven track record. Everyone's skin is different, so you must try for yourself but I'm wishing you the best!

@Junebug54 I got a sample of that as well and just opened it on Saturday. I was shocked by the hit of very strong perfume and just couldn't get past it. I tried it on my hand, which felt a lot smoother, but the scent is WAY TOO STRONG to put on my face. I typically don't mind some fragrance, but this was over the top for me.

I have two kits coming on auto delivery and think it has been beneficial for my skin. At 75, I have crows feet, wrinkles around my mouth, 11 lines. I started this about 6 mo. ago and have seen a lot of improvement. Now I know that it will not correct everything but it has helped quite a bit. It has tightened my skin and feel that it does not look dull like it use to. I will always use as long as I can. I think you just have to try for yourself before you know if it will work or not. By the way, I love how all of it smells. My two favorites are the Balm, which I leave on as a mask and the collagen.

I have been using the day and night cream for about 3 months now and I do see a difference. I love these creams! For the record I am 53. My skin feels so soft and I do notice a little firming in my jaw line. This cream in 3 months has done more than my Nuface tool did in one year. What a waste of money that is!!

just read that LOCCITANE is purchasing ELEMIS for about $900 million!

Luxury cosmetics firm L’Occitane International SA agreed to buy beauty and skincare brand Elemis for about $900 million, as the maker of organic lotions looks to expand in the U.S. and U.K. with its biggest deal on record.

Hong Kong-listed L’Occitane agreed to buy Elemis from Steiner Leisure Ltd., a portfolio company of private equity firm L Catterton that focuses on consumer investments. The deal is the latest in a spate of acquisitions of high-end skincare brands, with demand for natural beauty products on the rise in Asia -- a trend that has also lifted cosmetics giant L’Oreal SA.

Thanks for this thread. I have been wondering about this line, which is new to me. Appreciate the responses, as I have thought about trying "something" from them.

Maybe next time they have a "Try Me" kit I will get one, and check it out. Thanks

I started with Elemis a little over one month ago and am liking it very much. (70+ in years) I just got a nice kit from Nord. for $75. Two full-size items and 2 smaller size. Free ship and free returns, but I won't be returning it. Sorry to read here the Elemis Co. has been sold. Since L'Occitanne is a good company maybe it will be okay. I have found with other instances where companies are sold the quality of the products goes way down. In my time using Elemis, I've tried a good part of their line. The kit I got has the Peptide Thousand Flower Mask which will be new for me.

Hi! I highly recommend ! I'm using the cleanser , both day night cream serum and oil ! With Josie Maran argan oil is all I use and I'm very happy at 56 I have no visible lines and really good skin ! I love how light the products are and I think do work ! Good luck

@Junebug54- I think you should try it and watch out for the 30 day period so you can return it if it doesn't work out. I say go for it and post a review for us!

I am liking this brand a lot. My newest item to try (from a kit) was the thousand flower mask. I like it very much. So easy to remove and leaves the skin feeling great. I know all these creams cannot do miracles, but so far I am liking Elemis and have only been using it since the beginning of December. I know the scent bothers some, but I like it. I try to buy the kits as that makes the product more reasonable. Hope they have a TSV this year.
