It's always good to change it up , when you get tired of it grow it out. But some how she looks even younger , i don't believe just because you are a certain age you should conform to what society says we should do , if you are over a certain age you shouldn't have long hair. , do what makes you happy.

She probably had no choice. She said she is 50 and in Stage IV cancer. My heart goes out to her. She is so full of life.

She looks great in short hair because she has the right bone structure for it. She also has a long neck.....which makes a big difference when you see an older woman with no jawline, a short neck and jowls.

The feeling you get with a great short haircut can't be decribed. I Love my short hair, jowls short neck and all that comes with being an "older" woman.

@haddon9 I don’t have a once perfect neck, but still wear my hair in a short pixie. I think it’s perky, youthful. Sometimes longer hair hanging straight against your face, draws attention because it looks like you’re attempting to hide the flaws w/ the hair. It can also drag you down as we age.

Having experienced both short (pixe) modified bob (chin length) there is no doubt whatsoever preferred style second choice. Slim face need the width.

We have choices. I know several women wear longer hair look incredible.

I have always considered Dana exceptionally attractive lady. She radiates inner soulful, peaceful quality. God Bless Dana-healing love from above.

Her hair was short the first time she went through cancer treatments....she grew it out and I believe she had another go around with the treatments recently

....so it is probably not a hair cut she wanted

I will have to turn in to see Dana's short hair. I love short hair. Easy care.

I had a chance to see Dana and she looks great. Does not seem like she lost weight or hair. Good for her. I hope her health is back on track.

I’ve seen women lose at least 5 yrs. just putting their hair off their face or up in bun or ponytail. I guess this = look of short hair.

Dana looks like she is glowing and her hair is a beautiful compliment to her pretty face.

As far as not liking short hair... I think it is dependent on a woman's features and jawline. Sometimes, what looks good on one person, won't on someone else. That is why I always hesitate to make a blanket statement about how women should wear their hair. I like long, short and sometimes in-between.
