Ebates or Mr Rebates?

I have used both. Both were good at payment. I tend to stay with Mr Rebates just that is it easier to stay with one and just have one check to deal with. I Have used Mr Rebates for several years now and they are very good at sending checks. You also have the choice of having your rebate go to PayPal and one other payment option I can not think of.

I have been payed several thousands of dollars just for doing shopping I would have anyway. It is like free money.

@Valstybaby, I use both, I see which one offers the larger percentage of money back for that website. Ebates sends you a check quarterly, automatically. Mr. Rebates let’s you request when you want your check sent, you can wait until it accrues to get a higher amount back. I actually like Mr. Rebates better, instead of getting something like $12 back from Ebates, I am letting my refund grow well over $100 at Mr. Rebates.

I use Ebates. I find it easy to use. When I did use the other one which was over 2 years ago I found it more complicated. However I am sure it has changed. I just don't want to split up my efforts.

@Valstybaby I use both also. I used to only use Mr. Rebates but why limit your options. Sometimes Ebates is offering more the Rebates. Why not take advantage of both. I've never, ever had a problem using either one. They are equally reliable.

Just to complicate things I will tell you, I use Ebates, Mr Rebates, Be Frugal, Extrabux and Top Cash Back. I check the rates with all of them before I place orders and use the one offering the best rate at the time, often it is Top Cash Back. I like to get the most bang for my buck, and in the long run it can be a big difference in what I get back.

I use Mr Rebates. I looked at the sites each company had and joined the one with the largest number if my sites.

I use both. and check which one has the biggest rebate when I need it. Ebateshas more "BIG" rebates, with 15%-20% back at some stores, on occasion. Macy's was recently 20% back. Awesome!

I agree with another poster on the checks. Ebates sends them automatically, while mrrebates waits for you to request a check (they send a reminder every month). I like to let the money accumulate and get a larger check.

With Top Cash Back you can get your rebate in a gift card to some stores or even Amazon, Target and Walmart, and if you select this option you get up to a 3% bonus amount back.

I use Ebates and ShopAtHome depending on which one has the better deal. I figured 2 was enough for me.

Everyone has their own way of shopping. For me, I just stick with Ebates. I know sometimes other sites have better offers, but I've never bothered signing up with anyone else.

I will tell you my opinion on Ebates. I moved and took me a while to realize that I hadn't received a check in a long time.....well, I hadn't changed my address with Ebates! I was so upset at my error and was thinking the people at my old address had been cashing my checks. Well, I contacted Ebates and they sent me over $100! I don't know the amount that I was owed but I'm guessing that the people at my old address were sending the checks back! Score!!! So Ebates is a winner in my book!

I've used both but at some point I abandoned Ebates in favor of MR, can't remember why but there was a reason, sorry can't remember.

i use Ebates and the Coupon Cabin Sidekick extension which is available for Firefox and Chrome. I find Coupon Cabin to have higher percentages back usually and payout is just as easy as the others. I can't speak to receiving checks as I opt for the Paypal payment.

I have used Ebates and Mr. Rebates for a few years now and very pleased. Wish I had known about these sites years ago when I really shopped a lot. I look at and use whichever one has the highest percentage offered. Macy's (where I do most of my shopping now) is often 10%. I recently joined BeFrugal as it offers a few stores that are not offered on the other sites. I have received several hundred dollars back over the years from Ebates and Mr. Rebates.

I used Mrrebates for years,but lately they don't give me any rebates for some reason.Now I use Befrugal,Topcash and Ebates.

I have to check all my purchases with all of them.Every few weeks I have to file claims for the missing orders.

I suspect they do it on purpose,thinking we don't bother to file claims.

Does this happen to other posters?

I use Ebates. I found out about these sites HERE (Thank you ladies), several years ago, and picked Ebates. One is enough for me, and I'm happy getting the check quarterly. When it's a decent check, I'm happy to have saved the money, and when it's a small check, I'm happy that I didn't spend as much that quarter!!!!!! SMILING EITHER WAY!
