Has anyone ever tried any of the Phlur Perfumes

I am reading about it on the Sephora Site, and very interesting and some fantastic reviews. I am thinking of trying the 18.00 Sample Kit. So just surious as to if anyone has tried any of their perfumes? Thanks!

Yes, I settled on Greylocke. I liked that their scents are a bit unusual. I picked from Greylock, H(something?) and Hipcat. I think that was the three I picked from. I would liked to have tried more but settled.

Greylocke is, in my opinion, a gender neutral scent. It seems to have some musk but not much. I detest vanilla so I picked the ones that didn't have that.

All in all, it was a decent purchase. The bottle is heavy and has a fair amount in it. I am not allergic to any scents so I can't tell you anything about that.

The H scent ( can't remember that name!) was the most floral of the three.

Yes. It's a local company and I've tried a few scents via the sampler. When I tried, you could only get two samples at a time, so the bump to three is nice! I don't know about Sephora, but if you order from Phlur directly, you get an $18 voucher to use toward a full bottle of the perfume of your choice when you order the $18 sample trio. You have to use the voucher in the next 30 days.

I liked Olmstead & Vaux and Greylock, which were unisex scents, but did not purchase. I bought the samples during allergy season and they all triggered me then - everything did - and then I forgot about them. I'll have to try them again now that I'm in the clear for a bit. Sandara is new since my last sample set and I may have to give that one a try.

Oh, and if you buy a full size bottle from their site, $5 of the purchase price goes to one of two conservation charities they support.

I also tried a sampler with Greylocke, Olmstead and Vaux and Hanami. After reading all the Sephora reviews, I ended up trying Moab, sight unseen! I like it, but I now feel like I like Olmstead & Vaux the best, even though I originally leaned towards Greylocke. I know, I’m all over the place. Fragrance is such a mood thing for me. And I am also in my sixties

They also offer $10 off if you subscribe and you have up to a year to get the next bottle. It’s a cool company.
