Deborah Lippman Hard Rock Base&Top Coat

I have been using this with her polishes. My nails are growing and polish stays on a week. This is not a norm for me. Reviews are four star. I received a bottle with her last TS and ordered another bottle.I hated to do my nails as the polish would not last more than a couple of days and now look forward to doing my mani. Her nail colors are very nice as well.

Happy for you, but Lippmann never did a thing for my nails, not the Hard Rock or any of the polishes, drugstore products perfrom just as well for me.

@Gorgf I haven't tried the Hard Rock yet that came with the kit. I did try the Gel Lab with the gel shades and got 2 weeks before it chipped; not too bad!! I do not like how the polish goes on, however. I've used her products for years and don't recall having the application issue I'm having now. Perhaps it's the brush? I don't know.

Over the years I've received quite a few bottles of Hard Rock and really liked it. I ordered that TS but have not tried any of the polish yet.

Generally I use whatever top coat I received in a set. For me the only one that causes me problems is Seche Vite. I have "shrinkage," and it sometimes crack on my nails. Also it gets thick quickly.

I have a manicure every 2 weeks but do a polish change in between. I have too many choices to go 2 weeks. In addition my visible growth line begins appearing after a week. If I waited 2 weeks my nails would look unkempt.

I also love the Hard Rock. I never used it before and I like that it's a base and top coat all in one. I may have to get this in the full size. My manicures last almost a week also but it's that way with most brands for me. I love the colors in the TS.

I ordered the new gel top and base coats. I couldn't get them to apply evenly either. Tried a couple of times. They were not inexpensive either. I have been using her other products for years and am a devoted fan of her polishes, cuticle remover and others.
