PTR’S COUGH

I caught a few segments of PTR & during one of his last visits, another poster mentioned a cough. Now I’m hearing it, too. I think it’s more that he’s clearing his throat, dry throat, etc.

Notice it? What do you think?

Yes, I've heard it on more than one occasion in past shows. I wonder if he is a smoker?

I used to smoke and I had a 'smoker's cough'. You're right, it's very annoying. @Shanus

Who's PTR??? I could probably guess but, IMHO when posting, I think it's helpful to spell out the person's name. We shouldn't assume everyone knows who you're talking about.

I have a co-worker that coughed all the time. Turned out it was a side effect from one of the blood pressure meds he was on.

I noticed it today when I was going thru the channels and stopped to watch a few things on his show. It could be he has allergies!!!

Sometimes air conditioning can dry out our throat.

It may also be allergies.

sometimes I get an annoying cough from allergies. especially now that my entire state is on fire!

My cousin also had this happen to her, and had to change Blood Pressure medications because of it..

This morning PTR said his cough was due to allergies.

ACE inhibitors are known to cause coughs in up to 35% of patients. I don't know if he's on one though.

I feel for him. During the winter and spring, my allergies cause my asthma to flare and I get a terrible cough, despite being on all kinds of medications.

Summer is usually good for me, but with all this "Sarahan dust" that's been blowing into Texas from Africa, my lungs have been a mess. Last week they put a new guy in the cubicle on the other side of mine and he came around the wall and asked if I wanted some water. Poor guy that I was dying. Susan Graver coughs a lot on her presentations too. I bet it is the air conditioning....it drys out your throat when you have to speak for an hour or more.

When my husband and I were first married he was constantly clearing his throat and coughing.. I told him to get it checked out or I was going to kill him. Turned out, it was a habit he acquired and no one ever called him on it and he didn't realize he was doing it. So annoying.
