Brow problem--anyone else?

Am in my 50s and with age my once-full brows have thinned to where I must draw them in a lot with a pencil. I've not found a brow pencil that truly stays on through sweating and wearing sunglasses. Whenever I take off my sunglasses most of my brows have come off as well. I hate this! And I've used them all---IT, Mally, YBF brow pencils. They all sweat off. Anyone know of brow product that will actually not sweat off?

I've had good luck even when outside pulling weeds or whatever in the heat and the sweat starts dripping from my head and it's running down my face with the Anastasia Brow Wiz pencil. If I get something to wipe the sweat away when it comes to my eyebrows I dab, not wipe. Like you, I used to have full thick eyebrows, no more, most are gone.

Have you tried the e.l.f. brow pencil? It's only $2! What have you got to lose? It's a top-rated product and sold in many places. Comes in three shades...taupe, med brn and dk brown.

Are they thinning or just getting lighter? Mine have seemed lighter than they were.

I use Revlon Brow Fantasy. I haven't tried the pencil part of it but the liquid part that looks like a mascara works great. Really stays on and I've worn it when I was out in brutal heat and sweating.

This product should really get more love.

Why not go get a brow shape and consult with them. Brow bars are everywhere. Anastasia has them in some Nordstrom, usually the larger stores.

Both--they have thinned considerably and are light in color so it looks like I have no brows. Thanks for the suggestions! Will check out e.l.f and Revlon products. It's just frustrating that all the high-end ones have failed me so far. I thought IT was supposed to stay on thru anything.

i've given up......just another age related problem i've accepted....using the phrase "it is what it is" a lot lately.....tired of throwing out products that just don't work......btw, i just turned 68....

I live in Kansas so no Nordstrom close by. I have seen Anastasia products in Sephora.

Latisse has helped my brows come back in, and water proof mascara is my favorite brow product !

I (A Senior) had a tough time doing my eyebrows ,couldn"see without my glasses and when on they are in the way to do brows An answer to my prayers when i decided to have permanent brows and eyeliner,no worries any more Just a suggestion!

You know, I've been seriously thinking of buying Latisse. The thing is, I've spent so much money already on the "natural" lash and brow growth products and they haven't worked. Do you think Latisse is worth a try?

@KKJ...Get your Thyroid TSH levels checked!!

I used to have very thin (1/2) eyebrows, meaning the 1/2 furthest away from middle of my forehead were non-existent (very common symptom)...Doc saw it, checked my TSH level..was above average...started me on Synthroid & within the first year my eyebrows are back to their old self...very full & thick.

FYI this is one of the most overlooked health issues "older Ladies" have including me...so glad my Doc recogned the problem, tested me & prescribed the correct meds.

I have found that a gel base is the best for me. Thinning, overplucking, and having pre-cancerous whatevers burned off and leaving scar tissue and no hair has left me with an eyebrow problem. I seriously want them put on permanently but have not found someone I trust yet. I am a light gold blonde and do not want them too dark AND I have no taupe in my hair or eyebrows.... so.....

I really like Revlon's gel brow, sticks to my scar tissue, and stays on pretty well. I was using IT's gel pencil but got fed up with about 1 inch of product that constantly broke off AND paying $30 for it.

BTW, I use two of the Revlon colors, the blonde and the light brown, sort of mixing them by lightly putting the light brown on top of the taupe. It's been working for me.....

Good luck.... I know how hard this is....

I've been using this for a week now and absoultely love it. 5 bucks at Wallyworld. Lasts until I take it off. It mimics microblading. Very believeable. A young lady at work complimented me the first day. I shared with her, she came in this morning and her brows looked fabulous. If you do decide to use it, try it out the night/day before as it does require a very light touch. Comes in two colors. Unless your hair is jet black, I recommend using the "Universal Taupe." Therer are vids on youtube for reference.

Also, if your brows are thinning and if you have it on hand, you might want to try applying some coconut oil on your clean brows for an hour or so everyday. Be sure to wipe off prior to your head hitting the pillow.

I just turned 62 and was essentially browless. I had the permanent brows (tattooed) and love them. They make such a difference in the way they frame my face. Do it!!!!

At 73, the once thick, black brows are but a memory until I use Anastasia liquid brow marker.

You can sweat and the look remains. Tried the Stila and it works also....just seems as though you don’t get much product for the money by comparison.
