IT Cosmetics new light/medium shade

Did anyone else order this one? What did you think?

I am pretty fair with very cool/pink undertones, so I was excited to try it becaue I've had a hard time finding a good match in a cc or bb cream. It's definitely light enough for me. But unfortunately, it is still too yellow (just like the medium was), so unfortunately it will probably go back.

I didn't order it but considered. I am like you - cool w/pink undertones. Everytime I have tried to match up I end up with yellow undertone and it looks awful. So I went with my better judgement and passed.

I wanted to try the light-medium but was too late. Since I really wanted to try this foundation, I ended up ordering the medium, expecting to do an exchange after delivery. I know I heard some hosts say shades can be changed so we'll see.

Thank you for posting that the light medium has yellow in it. I have hesitated to order that color because I was afraid it might not have ENOUGH yellow for me. I need the yellow.

Got mine yesterday and have to add that I found it very different than you did.

It did not appear to me to have a yellow base. It is more of a peachy undertone than pink, but definitely not yellow. I compared it to the neutral medium and there is a big difference, but neither one looks yellow based to me.

I have both fairly light and light medium and neither are yellow based. They work perfectly on my cool toned skin.

I have light skin with pink undertones as well and the IT stuff is way too yellow. Don't understand why it's so hard for them to figure it out. I'm giving up on this company.

I bought the new fair-light color as I have both fair and light in the original and mix them. I think the new color is spot on. It is a peachy color and blends perfectly with my complexion. I think it gives a great finish.

For those who have received it please tell me what the purpose is of the powder since it is not translucent and their selling point was no shine so one doesn't need to dry it down with anything......

Does the tube give enough coverage?

Is that why they include a powder in the same shade? I don't understand this and tried to find it sold individually but couldn't.

Can the powder be worn alone? Does it provide enough coverage?

So confusing.

@puttypiesmom I heard them say on air that it can be used as a setting powder, over the CC cream for extra coverage or all by itself. There was no real wrong way to use it. They made it sound very versatile.

Not necessarily. The compact can go in your purse for touch up.

Touching up around the mouth after eating and using a napkin, some foundation does wear off or rub off. No matter what makeup I use I always carry a compact for that purpose.

Does it make it darker? I know the compacts are the same shade as the tube but was wondering if it gave off a muddying affect since it's not translucent. @weezer111

i only used the set once so far, but just put a light dusting of the powder. didn't seem to make it any darker but i guess it could if you put alot on. the light medium kit comes with the powder in medium, but is not dark at all. hope that helps!
