It Miracle water compared to Tatcha Essence

I just saw IT miracle water being discussed. I have Tatcha Essence & love It! But the price is crazy! I would love to use this instead. Has anyone used both to tell me if there is a big difference in the two? Thank you!

don't know the difference...you can check ingredients to see. I have the IT Miracle water and it is ok...but makes my face feel oily so I only use small amount at night.

Recently got a essence water from Skinn in his last TSV and that stuff is totally different....I really love that one and would recommend it over the IT one.

Since you love the Tatcha I wouldn't recommend trying the IT one to be honest.

Was that price $35? I use some IT products but would never pay that for special "water". I've used TONER for decades and buy it at the drug store for ???? under $10. These TV prices are what's making billionaires out of 'water'.

That's what I thought, too, but I had to try the Tatcha, which I liked. Also, tried 2 other essences: essences, which perform differently than toners. I've not tried the IT.

One of the things IT advertises about theirs was the fermented whatever they said. Tatcha also uses fermented rice.

Now, I just make my own, fermented rice water + the green tea that I like with a splash of lemon.

I don't think anything can really justify these high water prices.

I have used both. To be honest, I like the IT miracle water better. Tacha takes much longer to absorb and I don't have that much time to wait before I apply my serum and moisturizers.

Easy directions on youtube, as well as skin benefits. Simply boil H2O, add a cupful of [they suggest any] rice and let it sit in the water for a time.

I mix that with a ginseng green tea (that I steep a bit longer than 3 minutes, because I am not drinking it), add a splash of lemon and then refrigerate. I put all in a spray toner bottle (6 oz. or so) and then refrigerate.

I've used black rice, but that has a strong smell, and white rice, which just has a pleasant rice smell.

It feels like water with a little substance, kind of silky, nothing oily or tacky. To compare, the Tatcha feels like refined water. In other words, no substance at all.

I began all this, well, for 2 reasons. 1) I didn't want to pay all that for a water "essence." And 2) When I forgot my cosmetic case when I was traveling, I wanted a toner. Instead of buying one, I bought a box of green tea (because I really like its skin benefits - both inside & outside). I added the rice water, since I knew that was in the essences I had used.
