How often do you shampoo your hair

I am trying to wash my hair less, I washed it on Firday and after a Saturday at the pool it needed to be freshened up.

I decided to rinse and condition and wow it looks great, not greasy or anything. I might of found the solution to Summer time hair

Under normal circumstances, every two or three days but if I'm at the pool, gym or sunbathing and sweating a lot, then it gets washed regardless of when it was previously done.

Since I started using WEN I shampoo every 3rd day. Prior to WEN I had to shampoo every day.

In essence, I'm using your method everytime, I cleanse and condition at the same time!

I usually shampoo every 2 days and the day in between, just run conditioner through it. I also alternate my Shea Moisture s&c w/ the purple s&c.

Sunday and Wednesday is shampoo hair day. All the other days - I put in a dollap of Aussie Conditioner (it's in a purple bottle) and let that soak in while I'm showering.

I quit putting product in my hair, hair spray etc.... so now I go one week between washings easily.

If it is very hot in the summer and I feel sweaty, I might do two washings a week because it feels good. I do not have an oily scalp at all so going a week is no issue for me.

My husband on the hand his extremely oily scalp and really needs to shampoo every day.

I use a conditioning cleanser every other day or every third day. Once every 4-6 weeks I use a clarifying shampoo. Depending on the styling products I used during that time, it may be a sulfate shampoo or a sulfate-free shampoo.

My hair is highlighted and I have a body wave to hold up the weight when it's down. I wash it and condition twice a week if I wear it down, once a week if I have worn it up.

Uusally twice a week, but in the summer if it is really hot, and I have been sweating, then it gets washed, I don't care when I last washed it....

For workouts, I use dry shampoo!
