Bare Minerals TSV?

I just got mine today. I thought it was a crazy good value for all the nice things included. I use the complexion rescue, bisque & mineral veil and am excited to try the new items. The face primer and eye shadow primer look good. The lippie is a pretty shade.

@barb40 @caheff'yep I'm getting it. I'm a Suede ( was matched at the BE store ....perfect! ) The Complexion Rescue is light coverage for me which is all I need. I've never used the summer bisque. I didn't see what the lip colors will be in future shipments. Will be watching it being presented.

I just noticed it says the brush is in the 1st shipment only. Farther down it says the brush is in each additional shipment. I know that happens when it cosmetics has a brush in a TSV it's just in the 1st shipment, but additional shipments are at a lower price. Wonder what it will be.😜

I used to wear bare minerals exclusively until I started using it cosmetics. I saw the end of a presentation this morning on the TSV where they showed before and afters on two models, and I noticed in the afters how much more the products made the wrinkles show up. I would have thought with all that extra moisture that wouldn't happen. I sure don't need any cosmetics that settle in the lines. My dr denese skincare helps me solve that issue, so I am afraid of overkill with the addition of something heavy.

This is an easy pass for me. I'm not a primer fan and I just don't need another foundation. But this looks like a good value for what you get.

I would love to try the complexion rescue and the eyeshadow primer. But that is the only two prodcuts I want out of the kit. I don't like loose powder makeup. So, it will be a pass for me.

I don't like the translucent mineral veil at all. It does nothing at all for me. The lipgloss is too sheer, and the complexion tinted moisturizer offers very little coverage. I like a medium to full coverage.

I am interested in the eye primer, but I'm not buying for that. I don't use face primers.

I just got back from Ulta and checked out the Complexion rescue. I put it on the back of one hand and IT foundation on the other and it was exactly the same. The color, the shine, the thickness, and the feel was exactly same. I don't think I would like either one as they do not cover much and was shiney on my hand.

Complexion Rescue is the BOMB!! Love this product. However, QVC never carries the color I wear, Bamboo. The TSV will be color matched to whatever make-up color you select. I've worn Ginger but, really prefer Bamboo. Think I will pass & go to the boutique as I'm interested in the eye primer/shawdow, which you can buy there.

I already have the complexion rescue and really like it. I switch off with IT & Laura Mercier. I don't care for the powders at all. I did purchase the primer on Ebay looking forward to getting it.

I'm wearing the complexion rescue today from a previous purchase. It does look good, but I don't feel I need another set of anything. I recently bought a couple of other primers and I have another Bare Minerals primer already too. Trying to pare down instead of buying more. Just for info. -- I'm wearing Vanilla in the Complexion Rescue and I wore Fairly Light in the original BE. Good match--I even asked the sales person at Macy's and she said this was my correct shade.

After receiving an email from BareMinerals intoducing the Gen Nude Eye Primer/Shadow, I planned to check it out in person. After seeing the TSV also contains a new face primer that peaked my interest too. It may not be a favorite, but could live with Complexion Rescue in my foundation wardrobe. Original Mineral Veil is ok on me, and Bisque can always be decent simulated skintone eyeshadow. The lipgloss and the brush would be used by me even if I don't need either.

That said, as of this afternoon however, I still haven't ordered. I'm disappointed again that QVC decided not to purchase the kit in every shade of Complexion Rescue. As usual the shade I really need (Terra, 8.5) is left out of QVC set selections. Furthermore, the Gen Nude Eyeshadow/Primer is available in eight shades, yet QVC chose to match up the foundation shades with only four. I may be wrong but it appears they chose to go with the brightening Gen Nudes, not the neutralizing. The configuration of the TSV set is a good buy, but most likely I will buy the Gen Nude Eyeshadow/Primer in-store as it is really the only one of the products I was interested in before today.

ITA! My Complexion Rescue color, Bamboo is not offered. I could go with Ginger, have used it in the past. BUT, they will match bisque & Gen Nude primer/shadow to Ginger. I really want the Gen Nude primer/shadow as you do. But they will match it to Ginger.

I've talked with BM and been to their website & see all the color choices. Was told 'undressed' is the most neutral, which is what interestes me. This TSV mix wasn't planned very well. We need more choices.

I got mine. The lip gloss is lovely on my fair skin and I like the feel and wear of it. I wish they offered the color between Opal and Vanilla (Birch, I think) but the Vanilla will work for the summer. I put my Laura Geller Double Take powder foundation on top and got good coverage. I love the SPF in the BB! I haven't tried the primer yet and didn't like the eye shadow (too messy and a lot of work for everyday but I'll use it for special occassions).

SIX REASONS WHY

(I am not getting this TSV)

1. I like CR but am finishing one tube and have a new one in my stash (along with 5-6 other foundations)

2. Have tons of Mineral Veil on hand from the days when I was a BE addict and bought EVERY kit.

3. I wear Vanilla CR which means they will send me regular Bisque, but Summer Bisque works better on me

4. Don't need lipgloss

5. Don't need another brush

6. Really interested to try the new shadow/primer and face primer, but not $60 worth of interest.

@Suebdoo They said in the last presentation with Shawn that you get all 7 products in each AD shipment. We'll see if that's what actually happens. :/

@ahoymate I ordered the TSV because I've heard good things about the Complexion Rescue and wanted to try it. But it looks like the Bamboo would be a better match for me, too. I ordered the neutral since it'll be easier to darken the shade with bronzer, and I won't have the line of demarcation. It looks nice for those days when I want a lighter face or am too lazy to put on sunscreen. I haven't used BM for years but am willing to give it another try. I've been using Makeup Forever foundation, which is a perfect match and is light. The TSV also seemed like a good deal. Hopefully they'll listen to us and include Bamboo next time.
