Emjoi- does it dull over time?

I have an Emjoi from 5+ years ago. My model has more tweezers. My question is, do the tweezers dull over time or lose their ability to grip the hair? I'm wondering if I should purchase this Beauty IQ steal.

Does yours still remove hair? That's the easiest way to tell, I've only had mine a couple years.

@PalmTree11 I've had my emjoi for many years and it is still effective. I've recently researched, purchasing a newer epilator just because of newer technology. But my old model still gets the job done.
