Perfume-Woman by Ralph Lauren

Smelled this in a magazine today and really liked it. I think I might order the rollerball and try it. Does anyone wear it? The ad said it's new, Jessica Chastain is in the ad. Gets good reviews.

It's a woodsy and floral fragrance.

Top notes-pear, rhubarb, black currant

Middle notes-tuberose, orange flower, Turkish rose

Base notes-sandalwood, hazelnut, vibrant woods.

Yes, I have it. It was given to me as a Christmas present. The initial spritz is somewhat spicy, and crisp, with a little oriental spice, and a very slight floral. It's not sweet, or masculine either. I like the first few sprays, but I find the scent doesn't last at all...like many, many others on the market now. I find myself spraying it generously, but that doesn't help. I wouldn't buy it after this bottle is finished.

The reason most of today’s readily available perfumes disappear quickly: water-based. Look for oil-based and don’t be surprised if they are European scents.

I have been on a search for a long lasting scent that DH won’t have sneezes if I wear it. Limits my choices. Then, the remaining choices are limited by what makes me happy.

So far, I keep going back to Fan de Fendi. I can wear it year round; it isn’t heavy; it lasts throughout the day and softens into the night time; it isn’t “ expensive “....used to be carried by Ulta; spray bottle is easy to hold and elegant.
