Do you think that Argan oil can really firm your skin?

I’ve hear this stated during the presentations of Argan oil. I can understand it helps with making the skin softer, but there isn’t any other ingredients added that can help with firmer. What are your thoughts.......

JM doesn't know facial sagging. How could she, she lives a privileged life like other very wealthy people where life is beautiful. Her tv demonstrations are not done on a woman with facial sagging or jowls.

Also her claim that her Argon Oil is organic - wrong again. If it doesn't have the USDA seal stating it is organic, it is not.

No. Firming comes from the production of collagen and elastin originating from the fibroblast cells inside the skin. Argan oil does not induce either.

Josie only says that it reduces the appearance of coarse line and wrinkles. I've never heard her say anything about it improving the firmness of your skin.

JM absolutely states her Argan Oil firms the skin. I have watched her presentations and heard her say it. In addition says ......"it's all you need."

Getting back to the issue of no USDA seal on any of her products stating organic....can you imagine the confusion if all the vendors decided to do the same. Philosophy, Perricone, It Cosmetics.

It could be possible that it prevents new wrinkles because your skin is so supple. Since I have been using oils, I have no new wrinkles. Firming the skin, absolutely NOT.

News flash, @puttypiesmom -- people of all social strata have the same age-related problems. Maybe some can afford more invasive treatments, but ultimately, we all are going to look old.

But I agree that her claims about argan oil are way over the top. She usually forgets that important disclaiming word "appearance." She just goes ahead and says that her products will reduce wrinkles. Not going to happen, no matter how supple your skin may feel from using them.

JM has a lot more wrinkles than I do, I will be 62 in May...I do have slight sagging, thinking about trying the nuface?

@suzyQ3 ITA. Eventually whatever creams, oils or lotions we use....Botox, fillers or the knife, the clock will keep ticking. Even a facelift only lasts 7-10 yrs. (if lucky) & then surgery again?

In my experience it has firmed my skin. As well as cleared all my blemishes, smoothed the texture & brightened my skin tone. I use nothing but Argan Oil since trying it about 4 years ago. Before Argan Oil, I tried almost every drug store brand as well as Dr. Denese & Peter Thomas Roth. With all the chemicals my skin was constantly broke out, congested & my eye lids sagged so much I was considering surgery. I was so tired of spending all the time & money on products & endless steps. So I gave the Argan Oil a try for one month. I used nothing else. My skin changed 100% for the better. My eye lids as well as the rest of my face, is almost as firm now as it was in my younger years, I'm 56 now. My feeling is all the chemicals in skin care causes damage to our skin just like all the chemicals in processed foods damage our internal organs. But because Argan Oil is natural it does take longer to see results. You need at least 6 to 8 weeks. My skin just keeps getting better. Just remember everyone is different. What worked for me might not work for others.
