I just turned QVC on and have been watching the presentation of the TSV. I was tempted to purchase until I read some comments on the "yellow" undertones of the foundation. That's dissappointing because I think I would like the undereye concealer and the powder.

I suspect that has to do with the preferences of Q's beauty buyer. He/she may not be aware they're leaning towards buying tones that compliment their own skin's undertone.

I ran into that with a clothing catalog. Cute stuff, but 90% of the clothes were suitable for people with warm undertones. Then I got a look at the company brass and saw the women were all warm toned.

I watched it for awhile yesterday, until Amy & the vendors speed talking got to me along with Amy doing that loooong drawing out of every 10th word. But as to the makeup. Most of the models looked greasy and shiny on my tv, especially the upper cheek/under the eyes area. Plus one of the black models was using some product to erase the dark under eye circles......but it didn't do a very good job of it. On the plus side, the foundation did appear to do a decent job concealing other facial issues like redness.

BECCA is a line that holds no interest for me because just about everything in the line has "glow" and/or "shimmer and all the face products have a warm undertone. The entire line is offered at two places near me and I've asked SA's at both stores if it's my "imagination" ( I KNOW it isn't but I want to see if they try to sell me on it). Nope, they've said this is a line for those with yellow undertones and is one they steer those needing a yellow base towards.

Many lines are designed for warm undertones because the creator has a warm complexion. Charlotte Tilbury and Cat Cosmetics are examples were this is obvious.

All the products in the kit have highlighting properties. I can understand 1 or 2 w/ shimmer, but not primer, foundation, concealer, powder, and gloss...All with sparkle. Great for maybe younger skin or YouTube fanatics...but not the average woman.

Shimmer shows wrinkles and imperfections.

Looks like you haven't tried it all to even make these comments. I've been using Becca for a long time and I have this primer and it doesn't have sparkles at all. I even have their other back light primer and again no sparkles. If you haven't used these products please don't comment on them. You don't know a thing about it until you have tried these products. This is why I never listen to most people on these boards when it comes to makeup. You have to know how to apply it. The models in the presentations used way too much of the product and when they did, yes they were too shiny, but still no sparkles.

@shaggygirlThe reason the undereye color corrector was not a good look on the black model is because the one in the TSV was the wrong shade. Becca makes two shades of the corector-- the pinky one sold in the TSV and another more peach tone for tan to dark skintones. I recall mentioning in a post yesterday that if QVC could arange with Becca to coordinate the lipgloss with the shade of foundation ordered, the same should have applied to the corrector.

Ultimate Coverage is a reallly good foundation, but sadly QVC never has, and seemingly never will, sell all of the colors available to their customers in foundations which the manufacturer makes in 10, 20, or more shades. I honestly think they should have more trust in their customers to be able to go to QVC.com and review a color guide. Becca actually has one of the better foundation color guides with excellent images and worded descriptions

I went into Sephora today to check out the foundation. I caved and ordered the Tsv even tho I'm not crazy about the under eye brightrner. Much prefer IT bbue. The foundation is definitely drying. The coverage is amazing. The reviews say to do one area at a time cos it dries very fast. I'm interested to see how it applies with the primer. I've been a long time user of IT CC CREAM. But looking for something that lasts longer.
