Fresh Cream Warm Cashmere NO NO NO

I am a Philosophy girl and I have been for years and will continue to be BUT this new Fresh Cream Warm Cashmere is awful. Stinky how can they go on that it is so good.

Please just leave Fresh Cream alone.

Personally, I am sick of Fresh Cream. I guess if you don't want a lot of fragrance you would like it but I would rather purchase Pure Grace. I really wish philosophy would move on from Fresh Cream and it sounds like the Cashmere version is not good. I would rather see new and different scents for the 3 in 1 and SULFATE FREE.

I used to be a philosophy girl and I was around back when people complained that the fresh cream 3-in-1 smelled like baby puke. Personally, I never noticed that vomit note.

I liked the 3-in-1 and I used it -- and then there was crispy marshmallow bars. CMB quickly became my all-time favorite. Some said the fresh cream body butter was a dead ringer for it.

I didn't want to start a new addiction so I passed on the body butter. I even held off on the spritz. But then one day, when I was ordering my annual stash of pure grace spritz, I noticed they had a large size of fresh cream spritz at a discounted price. I pounced.

I tell you I've never been so disappointed in my life. I cannot wear the scent -- the musk in it makes me gag.

If fresh cream is too musky for me, I can't imagine how musky the new scent might be. And I don't want to find out!

I wanted to try this new fragrance, but passed on the TSV because the size of the shower gel is just too big. From the reviews of the fragrance, I'm not missing much!

The Fresh Cream spritz was way too musky for me, but the Fresh Cream original spray fragrance is less musky, and I like it, although it's not my favorite. I haven't yet received the new Fresh Cream Warm Cashmere spray fragrance, but it should be here soon (I received an email today that my TSV shipped). I'm glad the TSV only included a small 0.5 oz size, as I have a feeling I won't care for it. Curious to try it, though.

I am another who cannot abide Fresh Cream...only use the shower gel...all the rest is sweetened condensed milk to me. I did not order the Honey and Cream but I did get the recent TSV in Pure Grace so I will get a chance to try the Warm Cashmere.

Sorry Philosophy, this is a FAIL! It's cloying, over the top sweet and smells like the cheapest of fragrances (like something you'd pick out for your mom in the drugstore when you were 6 years old). I find it hard to believe that someone thought this scent was marketable. And how they went on and on and on about it.....all lies. Just awful. If you're at all fragrance sensitive steer clear of this one...instant nausea/headache.

ETA: This scent is very familiar to me and if my memory/nose serves me, it smells like Coty's Vanilla Fields which was popular in the 90s. I remember intensely disliking that one also. Probably the same recipe with a different name slapped on it. Ugh!

I guess that everyone is different. That is why they make different scents. I personally like fresh cream. And I personally dislike pure grace. To each his own.

But that is why it is nice that they make different scents....because we don't like the same scents.

I didn't care for the Fresh Cream Mint. I received it in a set and tossed it after several uses. It reminded me of medication.

@TenderMoon I rec’d my TSV today and you are dead on! It smells EXACTLY like Vanilla Fields. My sister bathed in this stuff in the 90’s so I know it all too well. I will be giving her this bottle. Oh the memories!!! LOL!

I haven't received my TSV yet. I loathe Fresh Cream because it smelled just like cookies on me. I kept getting asked if I was baking or just left a bakery -- it was a sickening sweet scent on me. I don't have high hopes for Fresh Cream Warm Cashmere. I bought the TSV for the Unconditional Love.

It's odd how Philosophy can get so far off on some of their scents. Their new Honey & Cream scent is the worst. It smells like warm, sour, spoiled milk to me.

Isn't that odd? That's how many posters described the fresh cream 3-in-1 several years ago. Sour milk, baby puke. I never detected it.

Yet all I detect in the fresh cream spritz is musk. If it smelled like cookies, I'd be able to wear it.

It's nice, very moisturizing. Leaves you with a bit of a glow but not glittery. This is a keeper for me.

I think and found out that Philosophy is over rated. I stopped buying it a long time ago when I was using the 3 in 1. It lasts only while in the shower and for the rest of the day there is no scent.

Too much money for a over rated product. Yes it makes a lot of bubbles but for the price there are other products out there, even in the drug store that are better, silkier and the scent stays with you in a lovely way.

Philosophy and other products on QVC have gone up in price and down in auality.

Oh and lets talk about the food products. Between Sharon, Dan Wheeler and David Venable they act like this food is the best in the world. They are over dramatic and at times glunteny.

Cheryl's Cookies are all sugar. Bought them once and thought if you are giving these to kids to eat you should be ashamed of yourself for the sugar content. Another company that charges a large price and just becuase they have icing on them. There are better products out there for snacking than a cookie loaded with sugar

I don't want my body washes to leave a lasting scent on me. I want them for the sensory experience in the shower/tub and that's it. I wear body lotion and a matching fragrance everyday so I don't want anything interferring with that.

I agree with you @Lipstickdiva. I regularly use Philosophy's Gingerbread Man, and their Sweet Vanilla Fig shower gels because I love their scents, and they only last while showering, not after I get out. These translucent gels also wash completely clean, leaving no "lotion-y" residue on the body that ultimately comes onto the towel when drying off.

I purchased the TSV in Unconditional Love on a whim. I'm hoping this non-translucent shower gel washes clean, and only stays in the shower!

I remember when the brand first hit the market and it was BIG DEAL. When Nordstrom started to carry it in the near me, it had a HUGE counter with multiple people working it. I watched as it slowly became less and less and now it's a tiny little space with no one around.

The scents are truly hit or miss for me. What I find to be the BEST when it comes to freshness is Snowman. THIS is the fresh, clean scent I expected with Fresh Cream and did not find (sour milk is bang on). I love Snowman and REALLY love the moisture cream. Gingerbread Man is 2nd and is loved by all the menfolk in my house; each shower has a huge bottle of it and I quite a few when free shipping is offered; they love it as do guests.

Body chemistry is what it is; and mine HATES Fresh Cream anything.

Years ago I was on auto-delivery for sets of shower gels. I had read so many bad comments about Fresh Cream that I canceled future order so I didn't get it. Later on I bought it and it is a favorite of mine. I haven't received my TSV yet with the new "cashmere." I have been surprised lately when I got nice comments about the scent I was wearing. One was for Fresh Cream and the other for Pure Grace.
