LED Wrinkle-Reducing Devices--Do they work?

What LED wrinkle-reducing devices have you used and what is your opinion of them? For example...Lightstim, ReVive, or the NuFace LED Trinity attachment. TIA!

Several years ago I bought one of these red light devices. I used it faithfully as directed for almost a year. I wanted to reduce the look of fine lines around my mouth area mostly but it didn't help with that. It did, however, seem to smooth the rest of my face but I didn't, and still don't, have any lines or wrinkles there....just around my mouth. The thing about these kinds of red light devices is you have to commit to using them for a great deal of time each day and it can take many weeks to see small results. I just couldn't keep doing it for the amount of results I was seeing...which was not enough to warrant the time and effort of using the device. My device is sitting in a box in my closet.

I've had much better results with dermarolling...better than anything else I have ever done. I know this isn't for everyone but for me it has been a very successful thing and it didn't take long to get results.

I use LightStim almost daily, on almost entire face.

Don’t know if its working or not. I use a lot of products

I get complimented on my skin very often.

Been using LightStim for years.

Sorry I can’t be of more help- but too many variables.

Has the dermarolling helped with the fine lines around your mouth?

Can you use it around your eyes, does it help crows feet?

What benfits have you seen by rolling & how often do you do it?

Yes, fine lines around my mouth have become quite less noticeable and some are gone. I never had any crows feet so I can't say anything about that part. My under eye areas are smoothed out and have become firmer. Where I notice the most change is on my forehead where I used to have horizontal lines above each eye brow. They are completely gone now. I think also pore size has gotten smaller because of the overall firming from the rolling.

Have you ever had a dermaroller procedure done? If not you may want to have one done professionally first and see if you can tolerate it. It is not for everyone and should not be performed without knowledge of how to do it correctly so that you don't damage your skin. Dermarolling is not simple process. Many steps before and after rolling need to be taken into consideration. It is a serious thing. I know I must sound like I'm lecturing but I only want to give you my best advice. May I suggest a book to read before you get started. This book will help you with questions and lead the way to safe and successful rolling.

Thanks @SilleeMee , what a great response, I will get the book, I am interested & would want to know all I can before I attempt it...and no, I never had that procedure done, I should stop in some salons & talk with the staff about it, I just turned 58 & need to figure out ways to step up my aging game

@SilleeMee, you are about to convince me to start microneedling. I ordered the NuFace that was the TSV a couple of weeks ago and have been doing the advanced treatment every single day. I will give it the full two months to see what, if any, changes I see. (I took photos.) If I am seeing no changes, it will go back. I am investigating what I want to try next if that should occur. I requested my library buy the microneedling book you recommended. I sure hope they will so that I can peruse it to see if microneedling would be something in which I would like to invest. I've considered fillers and such, but the constant cost is something I'm not willing to incur. We're all going to age and not be able to stop it; I just want to slow it down in a reasonable manner.

I have used the Lightstim for quite a few years now. I go through periods where I sometimes I can't use it for a few weeks but then I resume. I can definitely see a difference when I am consistently using it.
