NEED ADVICE

Hi. Can any of you give me your opinion on which cleanser you prefer and why.....purity or IT confidence in a cleanser? I refuse to buy both lol. Also, I've been trying to find the IT eye cream. I like it but cant find it here. I wanted to take advantage of the free shipping. Thanks!

I like Purity. It takes off all of my makeup well without drying my skin or burning my eyes. Perfect. If you buy some of Q’s economy sizes, it is also relatively budget friendly. Those big containers last forever!

I would say go with Purity. I have not liked anything from IT Cosmetics. I have overly sensitive skin, and Purity cleans well without irritating my skin.

I love Elysee's Luminacai daily facial scrub. It's currently two for the price of one over at HSN. I got a sample of Philosophy's Purity and found it to be very nice. My combination skin needs daily exfoliation, though, so I'd use that type of cleanser in the morning, with my exfoliating cleanser at the end of the day.

I have used purity for years. I don't wear heavy make up and it gets the job done gently if you mix with water and use a wash cloth. Once in a while it will not get the concealer off completely but I follow with the micro scrub and then it is all gone.

It is gentle...I have never tried any other cleanser though.

Not sure if this addresses your question, but there's an IT eye cream on Ulta's site for $38 and free shipping starts at $35.

As for cleanser, I stopped using purity years ago and started using Paula's Choice with no complaints. I recommend a konjac sponge with cleanser. Just love that thing.

I like Tula's face cleanser. It smells wonderful, and it is the ONLY cleanser that doesn't burn my eyes. Takes off makeup with ease, and leaves my face hydrated. I stopped using Purity a long time ago because I can't stand the smell and it burns my eyes and makes them red.

You don't need those high-dollar cleansers to get your face clean. Many excellent brands at the drugstore: CeraVe, Neutrogena, Olay, Pond's, Abolene.... just to name a few. Purity never removed all my makeup, burned my eyes, and made me break out (since you asked for our opinions).

I read some posts here about Purity being bad for the complexion causing damage. So I threw out my Purity that I had used for more than ten years and tried about ten different cleansers both drug store and high end and every one of them left me red and irritated. I also tried two from Paula's Choice and they were even worse than the others.

I went back to Purity and my skin is no longer irritated and red. I won't switch again.

I use CeraVe Foaming Facial Cleanser. It's not drying and it gets my face clean for a decent price. I have never been happy to see my money go down the drain...literally.

I tried it also and my skin broke out. I am now using cetaphil again.
