Laura Geller vs Malli eyeliner choice

Need advice. Looking for a set of gel eyeliners. Laura Geller or Malli?

I want something that stays on.

I want something that shows up and is visible. I like drama. LOL

Any advice would be appreciated. I have a feeling that I would be okay with either but I want to be sure. I am looking for a SET...more than one and the price point is over $40.

I've been buying both brands of liners for years (I'm a liner junkie). I have more liners of every color than China has rice. I prefer Laura's automatic liner sets because I like the finer tips and I don't like sharpening the pencils. If I want a thicker line (like for a lighter highlighting color on my top lid above the black lash liner, then a thicker (pencil type) is OK for that. I find both brands do stay on all day. Some of the the colors are very intense, and some are not. Laura usually has the larger sets (maybe 12), so I generally will find about 6 of those that I use a lot. I like that she has several shades of green (I have green eyes). I refuse to pay more than $4-$6 for an eyeliner pen or pencil. I've found the cheaper brands (like NYX) work just as well, if not better, than the $15-$30 ones.

I have both brands of eyeliner pencils. I prefer Mally because they don't skip on the eye during application. You do have to sharpen them occcasionaly and LG you do not. If I could combine them--that would be my perfect eye pencil. If I have a few extra minutes then I will use Bobbi Bronw eye liner gel. It glides on smooth, doesn't skip and lasts.

Both lines have a variety of colors and collections.

I haven't bought a eyeliner pencil in years!! I use eyeshadow stays on all day and looks so much softer than an eyepencil and goes on so easy. Plus you can have every color under the sun!! I use a straight edge eye pencil or an angle eye brush. I have used every eyeliner brand and never was crazy about any of them.

Neither of these brands worked for me. I buy and love Lottie London from Ulta website. They aren’t in a set but are less than $5 each I think. Definitely affordable. Soft and creamy and don’t tug and stay all day!

I recently bought a brand I never heard of before...'Beauty for Real'. I bought their auto-eyeliner in 'Black Magic' and it's very intensely black and stays on my waterline most of the day. In fact the black was so dark that it was almost too black, if that makes any sense. Because it so black, I decided to buy their brown version called 'Chocolate Fix'. I'm still waiting for it to arrive. The only problem with these pencils is that sometimes they don't twist up easily and I have to keep twisting and twisting to get the product to come up.Other than this I think this Beauty for Real liner is a good one. I bought them from HSN for $14 each. They also sell a set of 5 but are sold out at the moment and they were priced at $29, special price. Now it's showing $45, sold out.

I use Laura Geller's eye shadows and eye rimz (wet) for my eyeliners. However, for the waterline I like Colour Pop's eyeliners. They are as good as any others I've ever used (expensive or not) and are only $5.

I agree @soonersis, Colourpop has great liners and as a matter of fact I have been really happy with the quality from everything I have tried there. LOVE their eyeshadows and I like the newer powder ones too.

To the op, I can't compare Mally with Laura Gellar eyeliiners because I haven't tried LG liners but for me Mallys are good too. They really stay on but if you are looking for another great quality liner give Colourpop a try. You can't beat the price.

Has anyone ever used the Elizabeth Arden Beautiful Color Brow Shaper & Eye Liner?

I was looking at it online - you can use it as a liner or for brows. Lots of good reviews

I've used both and am not happy with either. I prefer Skinn's gel liner. It's much better than both.

I just ordered a 5 piece Laura Geller gel eyeliner set from Macy's for $27.00. I purchased a similar set last year from QVC (I think) and was pleased with it.

I know you mentioned just Laura Geller or Malli, but I recently tried L'Oreal gel eyeliner pencil at Walgreen's, and it's great. It lasts all day - doesn't disappear after an hour or so like so many that I've tried over the years. I tried Malli some years ago and ended up throwing it away - didn't last. L'Oreal's liquid eyeliner also lasts all day - it's a much more fine/thin line than the jel pencil. JMO, but I've given up ordering eyeliner and mascara from the Q or HSN because of the price and shipping.

Definitely Mally!! I've tried both. I love Mally's liner. The only one I like more is Urban Decay.
