lip gloss recommendations

Grrr. My favorite colors have been discontinued. Clinique's Clearly Pink and Chanel's Imaginaire. I like a light, sheer feel and look. Not too sticky or hard to put on. I'm also not crazy about the ones that supposedly plump the lips. I'm pretty much a winter in my coloring. All I do is lip gloss for makeup, so I don't want a color that has to be "matched" with a made up face. I'm 54 if that makes any difference. Any recommendations for a mauve or soft berry or bright pink gloss? Going to the mall today. Thanks beauty mavens!

The best yet! Lorac Alter Ego lipgloss. Hard to pick a color but my faves are Southern Belle,Supermodel and Girl Next Door. These are the best lipglosses I've ever used and the prettiest colors too.

I am also a fan of the Neutrogena Glosses with HyaluronicAcid. I use color 10. You get alot for your money with this stuff. I think I have gone through 4 tubes of it in the past year and a half! Love it!

You might be able to catch the last tubes on amazon or ebay. I've done that.

I would certainly stay with Chanel, they have the best lipgloss I've ever used.

@software I agree with @ECBG I've had good luck finding discontinued everything (you name it) over on Amazon. It's brand new but you can often find it there.

@muffininmilton. I also have winter coloring and wear very little makeup & a neutral lip/gloss. The easiest thing I've found is Doll 10 Nude Lip Wardrode (2 lippies 2 glosses attached but can be switched). When I put on my makeup, especially lipcolor, I never know what I'm going to wear. These neutral, natural pink/beige shades go with everything.

@Shanus I keep buying lipsticks and have a lot of Doll 10. They are nice (pretty colors) but they don't stay on me at all! I'm not big on light colors but sometimes I wear the darker pink (don't care for pink) but I wear it.

I'm glad more people are back to wearing matt lipstick because that's my favorite and I've found it lasts way longer. I'm like @Lipstickdiva in that I have tons of lipstick and love it. I always have some on when I leave the house. I think it makes a lot of difference in a person's appearance.

I often will put on a gloss like Doll 10 to soften the reds I like to wear.
