Do You Put Makeup On In The Car

Last week I was stopped at a red light, I was looking in my rear view mirror at the car in back of me. This woman, behind the wheel, not a passenger, was putting on makeup, like something on her eyes, and lips, also was fluffing out her hair. I can't see doing a good job, when your making yourself up between red lights. Can't they take the time, a few minutes extra at home? I have never done this and can't see that I ever will. If you do this well, well more power to you!

I've done lipstick or gloss but never anything on the eyes.

I try to use my rear view mirror for that and that alone, rear viewing. Never to look at myself because that could bring forth a scream from way down deep in my bowels.....what in God's name is it about rear view mirrors that they have to be so blatantly truthful about how you really look, especially when you're on your way somewhere thinking you're looking pretty darn good. Ruins the whole day.

I put on lip gloss, also when at a stoplight. Anything else would require too much manipulation!

I've never done my full face in the car, but will do touch ups of powdered foundation and lipstick/gloss before going in someplace. I used to know someone who did her whole face on the drive to work. SMH

Simple for me. I seldom drive. The makeup mirror inside the sun visor is small, but does the job.

I will put on lipstick or gloss at a red light. That is all the make up I carry with me.

Absolutely not. I put make-up on in my bathroom in front of my make-up mirror. When I'm in my car, I'm driving...and possibly singing, since I'm the only one who appreciates my singing ability.

This reminds me of the opening scene in the movie Making Mr. Right with John Malkovich & Ann Magnusson. Her character is putting on makeup and shaving her legs and arm pits while driving to work in her convertible. Funny movie.

I did put a bumper sticker on the family car, I was driving temporarily, as a joke that said Caution Driver Applying Makeup, but my dad quickly removed it.

my husband's niece was driving me somewhere before, and when we were stopped at the light, out came her bulging make up bag and she started painting her face. like a full face! i was totally floored. she did it in no time, quick as a whip and looked really good. she's forever late wherever she goes, so she's gotten so adept at doing that.

When I am parked I will apply lipstick or concealer, but that is about it. Never while driving the car!

NEVER! You need to focus on driving and being safe. If you don't have time to put your makeup on before you leave your house, get up earlier. You are a danger to my family, friends, and me.
