topic New "June Jacobs" line crazy overpriced! in Beauty

I was just reviewing the ingredient lists for the June Jacobs line that QVC seems interested in carrying now. Its a 'natural based' ingredient line, and their ingredient lists are on their home website, not QVC.

I liked the ingredient lists. Lots of plant extracts, some fermented radish root (*shrugs*, but hey, its different,) and not any weird added fragrances, or too aggressive herbs that would irritate me.

But the prices... yikes! Definitely overpriced for what you are getting imo. 100% Pure has very similar products, with similar type ingredients, at similar levels in the products and more reasonable prices (but better dispensing containers!). And, dare I say it, Shea Terra Organics as well.

I don't like that they put so many of these 'natural' ("fragile" imo,) ingredients in jars, which maximize bacterial contamination (and therefore you have to use more preservatives much of the time,) at this price point. For THAT much money for skin/facial care, put it in a pump! Or a tube... Some are in tubes.

$40 for a peppermint moisturizing foot mist?! Um, no. Just, no.

*venting over*
