Have you seen her new photos for Calvin Klein in bra and panties-37 years after her original ad? Wowza. Of course they're retouched like they all are. But I have always thought she is one gorgeous woman. Still is.

Even more beautiful is her attitude-that her daughters will not model until they finish college. She says modeling is cutthroat and demoralizing, so self focused. That her daughters already have enough self focus with the selfies etc. They are 14 and 11. She is 52.

I didn't know if it was ok to post the new pic. But it's out there. New issue of Social Life magazine.

Airbrushed or nor, she looks great. Shes always kept herself in good shape, and seems to have a healthy attitude towards beauty, which is impressive given her child modeling/ child star roots.

She's one of the few models/actors that has her head on straight. Very smart, talented and gorgeous.

Brooke Shield took the time to get an education. She is a graduate of Princeton University. Her education probably gave her some perspective. It also was an opportunity to mingle with other people her own age who all live in the real world.

I've always envied her hair. Well that and everything else-but her hair is glorious.

Her beauty radiates from within, without a doubt. That's a cliche but in her case it's true. She is class and elegance and grace, but she's real and approachable too. She says in the magazine that she finally feels comfortable in her own skin. I look at her and say how could she not be. But that's another thing that makes her beautiful, that she has those human feelings and expresses them. Like talking about her postpartum depression. And her relationship with her mother.

@Greeneyedlady21- I agree with Brooke. She's not allowing her lovely daughters to model when they're still pre-teens, like Cindy Crawford did with her daughter. When she was about 11, she was modeling clothing that was WAY too mature for a young girl. I have no respect for Cindy Crawford (not that I ever did). Dumb dumb dumb.

Has anyone ever tried anything from her MAC line? It came out I think three years ago?

I Googled and some things are still available online on various sites. I'd like to get something, didn't care for the lipstick colors for my coloring.

I always loved her eyebrows. At 31, I stopped over tweezing my naturally full brows and still wear them like that today....of course w/ age, lost some hairs off my tail (sounds funny), but you know what I mean.

My sense is that she doesn't take herself too seriously. I love her LayZBoy commercials because of her relaxed and casual nature. Hope she really is like that, but I could be totally wrong.

Brooke was before her time. Beautiful skin, hair and her famous eyebrows plus she was quite tall -- a designer's dream. Now she is working for Lazy Boy. I always see her commercials on TV.
