Need suggestions for cruelty-free makeup...

Some of my favorite cosmetics are no longer 'cruelty-free'. For those of you who only purchase cruelty-free products, could you please share some of your favorites? I have decided not to purchase from Urban Decay, Too Faced, etc. because the parent companies do animal testing.

I have been cruelty free for about 4 years now . After adopting my puppy from a rescue organization I decided to go cruelty free . I gave up my MAC and Bobbie Brown and will not purchase brands whose parent company test on animals either.

I have several brands that I am very happy with : Silk Naturals , Moody Sisters , W3ll people ,Gressa ,Hynt Beauty , Kjaer Weis . ColourPop is also cruelty free . Some great shopping sites are Integrity Botanicals,Detox Market , Citrine Beauty and Credo . What is great about these shopping sites is that they sell samples for a few dollars and you can try before you buy . I also love Logical Harmony by Tahsina . She updates her cruelty free brands weekly and has shopping guides for cruelty free/vegan brands at Sephora, Ulta and drugstores . SHe has reviews as wells as Youtube videos on the productss. Hi I really like Silk Naturals if you are new to cruelty free . Their prices are wonderful and I had posted a few weeks ago that they have Dupes for the Urban Decay Naked palettes and the Too Faced Sweet Peach kit , as welll as dupes for popular MAC colors and Nars O blush( which is spot on) I have serveral eyeshadow and brow filler and lip gloss . This might be a great place to start as their prices are so reasonable and you can probably find colors similar to what you were using in other brands . I recenty purchased a liquid foundation from Moody SIsters and it is great ,customer service is wonderfull . I love Gressa Serum foundation and serum blush they are organic and a little pricer , but you can get samples on some of the sites I mentioned . Good luck

Laura Mercier was taken off of all cruelty-free lists.

I believe they use ingredients that have been tested on animals. Furthermore, they manufacture and sell in countries that require animal-testing.

Wander Beauty- I like their liquid eyeshadows, mascara and I'm still going to try their powder foundation and their lip crayons at some point. Maybe even the brow pencil? My brow hairs are starting to get really light these days yikes!

Essence- this is a drugstore brand. EXCELLENT mascaras. So far, I love the two waterproof ones -I normally hate true waterproof mascaras as they tend to break my lashes but these aren't stiff and hard like most. I also absolutely love their lash princess falsies mascara. I wil try more of their mascaras and maybe some lipglosses.

Paula's choice- I love her Endless Lash mascara. One of my HGs

for a few years now.

Kat Von D- I love her shadow palettes. Some of her older ones are my favorites ever. Many of the things of hers I really loved and used all the time (lightening lipgloss and her lightening eyeliner-completely budgeproof!) she has since discontinued sadly. I haven't tried much of her other stuff over the past few years.

Makeup Geek- I've only tried the eyeshadows at this point. They are very nice.

Laura Geller- her Baked elements foundation is my HG foundation. I don't like most of her other products though. But that foundation is excellent for me.

Ilia- I absoltuley love their lipgloss.

Smith and Cult- Their linger sigh lip oil "stain" is amazing. An HG of mine.

RMS Beauty- their luminizer is the only luminizer I use, when I use one.

Jane Iredale

Red apple lipstick-I have not tried their stuff but several ladies like their lipsticks alot.

Kiko Milano- drugstore priced products. I've only tried their shadow sticks and really like them. I actually like them better than I did Mally's. They have alot of great colors and have several sales throughout the year with free shipping and cheap prices.

Julep- I've only tried their shadow sticks. They are nice but I like Kiko's just as well and for a better price. (I haven't bought their stuff in awhile so not sure if they are still cruelty free).

Josie Maran- I am not a fan of much of her stuff but her Vibrancy foundation is nice.

Milk (have not tried their stuff)

Pur Minerals

Au Naturele cosmetics

Jouer cosmetics- I like several of their things.

I have many more, just don't have time right now! HTH!

Kat Von D! I love her eye shadows,liner and lipstick. Her foundation is full coverage. But I use it with a damp beauty blender and am happy with the lighter coverage.

I like Physician's Formula Shimmer strips eyeliners, you can get a 3 pack for around $12 and they glide on nicely and wear great.

I also like Wet N Wild eyeshadow and e.l.f. eyeshadows

I am compiling a list of things I'm going to try. (I already put one order in to Ulta, and will be stopping by a Sephora next week). I looked at the Red Apple Lipsticks last night, and those look so interesting. I'm going to try one and will post a review later.

PRAI (skincare) is not only " bunny certified", they give to animal welfare organzations. You can go on over to the southern channel to see what they offer.
