Simply Venom?

Anyone have any experience with or thoughts about the simply venom product line? I notice it on the other channel - seems like a good price to try it, but not sure about it at all.

What do you think?

Just took a look at their website ... I wouldn't take a risk

First time I heard of a "snake oil" salesman actually giving his product a snake-related name!

As a person who is very scared by snakes or snake-related thoughts, I could not purchase anything with this name.

Venom to me means poison, so I'd rather try one of the numerous other skin care product lines available.

If I remember correctly, Peter Thomas Roth used snake venom in his first skin care anti-wrinkle products I do not know if he still does .

I remember because I had a twich near my eye and hoped to paralize the nerve that made it twitch,but it didn't help .

It was around the same time as Victoria Principle began her line or soon after she launched hers.

I've been using the day and night cream duo for about six weeks and I really like both creams. I just placed an order for more since it's at such a great sale price.

FutureDerm did a review of the products here, which is what got me interested in trying them. The product name is kind of hokey and I probably would've ignored the product if FutureDerm hadn't done their review. I'm glad I took the chance and ordered it.

I'm sixty with normal skin and an oily t-zone and neither cream makes my skin feel greasy, nor have they caused my skin to break out. Plus, the day cream doesn't ball up after I apply sunscreen, primer and liquid foundation on top of it. Both creams are nice and light and not heavily siliconey, if you know what I mean.

Both creams are a pleasure to use and I like that they are fragrance free and made in the USA. The pump dispensers work great, the only downside is that the bottles are opaque so you don't know how much is left in the bottle, but I'm not complaining. Nice products!

I do think the name is terrible - agree with most of you on that point. However, name aside, I do know that many brands use syn-ake. Don't think that's how you spell it, but it's something like that. Isomers and many other brands have used that ingredient as the 'alternative to botox". Not sure if I'm going to try it or not. Have to decide today though, while the price is right!

What's kind of funny, is that when I first saw the product I thought it was a bee product. bee venom - that's a thing, right?

Hi @moonandthestars I tried several Bee Venom lines (including Rodial and another formorly sold on QVC) but I noticed that the Bee Venom which was in the name of the product was one of the last ingrediants listed. Made me wonder about the negligible amount of the star ingrediant vs affective results? Anyway interesting this snake venom concept too! I hadnt heard of this before so thanks.

I looked on their website and they have an ingrediants page and supposedly 8% venom....is that affective? I have no idea LOL. Let us know how it performs if you choose to purchase. xxxxxxxxxxxx Stormy
