I own a few of these and I encourage anyone who buys single eyeshadows to check them out. I have a large one and a couple of the 9 pan.

There was a controversy with them on social media a few months ago, and people starting promoting the MUFE tin magnetic palette but I like that I can see what each palette holds as the Z palette top is clear and see through.

I like them because they are easy to travel with.

Apparently someone from their social media responded to a couple people who were on their Instagram complaining about something. I bet if you google it, there is an article out there somewhere. I was late to the word of it and of course the responses were removed by Z Palette .

The large one I think was $20 and the smaller one which holds 9 regular size eyeshadows was $12 or $14. I have a hot pink small one which I received in my Boxycharm box a few months back. The other ones I have are just black. It's a great concept. HTH

I think the concept is interesting. The BeautyIQ channel did a lengthy presentation on the Z palette and depotting using their heating gizmo tool late last night.

I have seen a small Z palette at Sephora but it did not come with anything to de-pot a makeup item.

I personally do not buy big or holiday makeup palettes because I won't use most of the colors.

For people that are not makeup artists, they hold up quite well imo. If I am traveling, I will take a large Z Pallette as they are slim with a mixture of mattes, satin & shimmers that are my favorite singles.

I don't know. You're right it would be a lot of work. The reason I like my Z palette is because I buy a lot of single eyeshadows from Makeup Geek, Colourpop and other places. I do have a few full palettes that I've bought and there are colors that won't get used.

I usually take a bag when we travel by motorcycle for my cleanser, moisturizer, etc and my foundation will go into this. I usually put these liquids in a ziplock bag. I then use my large Z palette and I put about 6 shadows, a blush, setting powder and a bronzing powder all together. I then can fit my tools into a pencil type makeup bags which I put a mascara and an eyeliner into also. I've learned to pack lightly while traveling on the motorcycle. Now, as far as being a makeup artist and stacking them into a "kit", I am not sure how well they would hold up. I like mine. They work well for me. My 9 pans I have them colored coordinated. One has warm tones, one cool tones and another one is purple tones which I love for my brown/hazel eyes.
