New YSL Touche Eclat Illuminating Foundation

If you already love the YSL (YvesStaintLaurent) Touche Eclat Highlighter, then you're going to fall in love with their new Le Teint Touche Eclat Illuminating Foundation!

I was so excited for this foundation; probably more so than any other foundation to come out in the past year or so. It is expensive ($55) but I don't mind spending the money if it's going to be a good foundation. I figured I could always return it to Sephora if I really didn't like it.

Turns out, I love this foundation! It's the best illuminating foundation I've tried, and that's saying a lot considering I have oily skin and illuminating/dewy/glow finish foundations are usually a no-no for me.

The coverage level is the only part I didn't like/wish there was more of. It's light to medium buildable coverage. I wish it was a medium to full coverage foundation and if it was, it would be the perfect foundation.

What I do like is how lightweight it is, how natural it looks, and how it illuminates my skin. It's not super long lasting, but it sticks around.

I figured I would post about this because I know it's hard to invest in foundation that costs $55 when you don't know much about it and don't see how it performs. I hope my blog post helps anyone who may be considering this foundation.
