I have 2 that I use. The first is Tan Ceuticals and it's a lotion form, and the other one is the Tarte Little Mist Sunshine. I got them both last spring. The Tarte is a spray that has a mitt. It's a clear spray. The Tan Ceuticals, I apply with rubber gloves. Neither of them make me orange.

I used to use Bare Minerals Faux Tan, but I switched about two years ago since I swear the formula changed. I've switched to St. Tropez mousse in Classic. I've seen it presented many times on the Q but was always hesitant to order thinking it wouldn't work for me since I'm on the fair side. However, when I used my Sephora points for a sample with one of my orders, I was able to try it out and have been hooked ever since. It's so easy to apply since it's a mousse version and you can add a little for a light tan or add alot to build up to a darker shade. No orange or streaks. Just a nice tan color. Sometimes I add some of Josie Maran's whipped argan body butter on top and it gives off a nice glowy tan. I don't use a tanning mitt either to apply. I actually use latex gloves that are real thin and I apply it like that. Sometimes when I'm in a hurry I squeeze some mousse into my hands and apply but then I have to use a baby wipe really quickly and clean off the palms of my hands...it's my holy grail self tanner now.

I hate self tanners. When I use them, which is rarely, I use the Vita Liberate (sp?) one. I also tried some tanner from Walmart-maybe L'oreal. Tan towels are easy to use, but the color is so light it barely is seen on me.

I just abhor the hassle and smell of self tanners. They disgust me.
