I'm not a fan of her shadows. They're generally much too shimmery than I like. The only highlighter I've tried is the French Vanilla, and it was just okay, IMO.

The only two products of hers that I like and use are some of her baked blushes and some of her Italian Marble liptsticks. That's about it.

I really like her but I'm afraid to try the shadows and highlighters. The models actually look better in the before pics. In the afrers all of their lines and wrinkles are so obvious. I do love the spackle

I've tried alot of her products and the only things I like enough to repurchase is her Baked elements foundation and the eyeshadow quad dream creams with the peach colors in it (not sure if it is sold anymore).

I have tried and do NOT like her spackle, balance and brighten foundation, mascara, lipgloss, waterproof spackle hues shadows, cool lids eyeshadows, baked gelato swirl illuminators.

Alot of her lipgloss, lipstick and blushes have the same color tones to them (all tend to have an slight brown undertone) and don't look good on me. Plus they tend not to last very long. I was on a hiatus from not trying her products for a long time due to my disappointment of all that I had tried but I am glad I tried one more time with her baked elements foundation because it is my HG foundation right now and has been for a few years now. It is perfect for me in every way. However, I won't try anymore of her other products- no lipgloss, spackle, mascara, lipstick, shadows, liners, blushes/illuminators.

Laura seems like a nice lady but her products are just not a good fit for me.

I actually recently returned to Laura Geller products. I find them to be much easier and quicker to use in my everyday life. What I find interesting is I met a friend for dinner a few nights ago and she said that I looked like I use to. Wasn't really sure if that was a good thing or not. Her reply was that my skin looked really good and my face had a youthful, soft glow. She said my makeup looked light and not too heavy. The only makeup I had on was Laura's. Naturally I asked what was different. She said she had not wanted to hurt my feelings but whatever I was using before made me look older and was too heavy looking, and sometimes I looked washed out. Mind you I have always tried to apply with a light hand. For the past couple of years I had been using a couple of very popular brands from QVC. So needless to say I'm sticking with L.G.

I think the highlighted look is largely a matter of personal preference because 95% of the time, highlight emphasizes texture. Personally, I am not a fan of that look, but many people love it. I think a soft highlight is usually beautiful, but sometimes they overdo it in the live demos.

I agree with @HappyDaze, that the Baked Elements Foundation is fantastic! I love that it is talc-free with a soft egg-shell finish. I stay away from talc-based powders.

Laura's lippies are always hits for me. I love absolutely everything I've tried. If she has a new lip kit up, I will buy it and be very happy!

I also love her Watercolor Blushes and the Baked Brulee Blushes; the latter are the best blushes I've tried.

Laura Geller's face makeup is too orange, and looks like that on all the models...on my TV. I tried her baked face makeup (medium) a few years ago and it was too drying and just not the right color for me, it made my skin look sallow:/ I do like her dual powder eyeshadow in plum/mist and the kajal eyeliner pencils.

I recently went back to using Laura Geller's original spackle again. It feels so soothing and gives a nice glow. I wear minimal makeup: Smashbox Halo powered, L'Oreal blush, Boots No 7!eyebrow pencil and Revlon lipstick. I find that the makeup, looks fresher longer with the spackle. As you can see, I use products from different lines. And mix drugstore brands with "upscale" brands. Like others, I've tried so many different products and finally found what works for me...at least for now!

I love Laura's Baked Blushes-very pretty colors, and they last and last......I also like a lot of her lippies, but rarely purchase them unless they are on QVC and sold in 2's or 3's........ I do think that a lot of her lippies have a brown undertone to them..... Her Bronze n Brighten is ok, not my favorite bronzer but do use it from time to time, but I do not like her Balance and Brighten at all-too muddy looking.........I do like her Spackle as well.......

I agree about her blushes. I own a couple with Pink Grapefruit being my favorite, and I also have her gelato HL in gilded honey. I don't overload the HL on my face, but I do like to have a subtle glow. I do not have textured skin and I agree that some ladies do go overboard on the HL. My skin is a little on the dry side, but I just moisturizer well and I'm good. I've never had a lot of acne. Anyway, I also have a couple of her lip glosses and they're not my favorite, but I received them in kits. I did get her body baked bronzer in Tahitian glow a couple wks ago, but have not used it yet.

I do enjoy her shows with a good host. I think LG gives great tips.
