$20 off $40 on HSN sitewide with Visa Checkout

At first, I thought it meant all I had to do was checkout using my Visa, lol! I realized Visa Checkout is another payment service similar to PayPal. They are trying to get people to sign up accounts with them, kind of like the $5 or $10 offer that PayPal offered when they were starting out (10-15 years ago?).

You'll be given the option to use Visa Checkout when you make a purchase, and when you do, you'll be prompted to give your name, email, etc., just like when you're signing up for a new account (with VIsa Checkout, in this case). You can put down any credit card as your card on file. It doesn't necessarily have to be a Visa.

I know it's legit because I used it last night on a Lorac pro palette and I only paid $24 + tax, free shipping.

Just wanted to share this deal with you ladies.

Yep I have used it before. Got some diamond earrings. I have hangers and some microfiber clothes in my cart over on hsn. Just not sure if I am going to order before it expires. Do you know when it expires.

I used it many times with Zulily but I haven't noticed it there lately. They don't always offer free shipping.

I just googled this, and some coupon sites are saying it's supposed to end March 31st, but I was able to use it yesterday (4/2/17).

It says 4/10. I will probably wait and see if they offer it again. I don't need the stuff until we move in November.

I used Visa Checkout at HSN just a little while ago. No $20 off $40 for me. Not today. But I bought the TS - maybe it doesn't work on that.

I just randomly tried a $40 item and I was offered Visa Checkout payment, but since I already signed up yesterday, I cannot get the $20 off anymore. (Make sure your item is at least $40.)

You have to create a account with visa checkout.once you sign in after adding your items to your Hsn cart it automatically comes off.

I received an e-mail from HSN about it. I don't understand why it is called Visa Checkout if any credit card can be used. I have a Visa credit card but it is not what I use for HSN purchases.

You can't use any credit card. You have to make a visa checkout account. You can then add your Visa card. After you add your items to the cart you click the visa checkout logo instead of secure checkout. Sign in and your 20 off comes off automatically. And yes it's still available because I just checked. I am not sure why this is so complicated.

I haven't been successful using Visa Checkout on HSN. I think your phone number must match the number HSN has on file or you get the dreaded "call customer service" message. I gave up. Glad it's working for some.

Mine didn't work at first either. My phone number on one account was cell and the other was my home. Once I changed it, it worked. The street also had CT. and I had Court on one --again--have to match up exactly.

Ladies-is this a one-time deal or can one use it 2 days in a row?

Visa Checkout is just like using PayPal or Google Checkout. You register for it with Visa and the only criteria is a Visa card is the card on file for use (it can be a Visa debit).

There is a growing list of retailers being added to the Visa Checkout system. I've used it at HSN and a couple of other places so far. In fact, I used it several times during the holiday shopping season with HSN because they had a $20 off $40 using Visa Checkout promotion going on. A couple people on my list had their gifts bumped up (in value) due to the promotion .
