Strange & Kinda Creepy Mascara Demo on HSN

Ok maybe it's just me, but this demo kinda creeps me out. I don't think my eyes do this LOL

HSN item # 548-084 Grande Mascara and Primer at about the 2:00 and 6:00 minute part

Also none of the demos or B/A impressed me, but has anyone tried it?

It looks like the model blinks to get the mascara from the brush to the lashes. If I tried that, I don't think it would go well. I don't think I've ever seen a model apply mascara that way.

What happened to the the old fashioned placing the wand at the roots of lashes, wiggle wiggle wiggle and slide up to the ends?

This video was made during a (thankfully) brief period when "vibrating" mascara wands were a trend. But I have no idea what made her decide to vibrate her head instead of the mascara wand, which would have been far easier.

I don't think the wiggle and the roots and extend out method is old fashioned. It's pretty much the standard in every other video I've ever seen. This one stands out as being.... unique.

Really like Grande mascara, never tried the primer. Its long lasting, didn't flake and gives more of "feathery" look to the lashes. Didn't notice any bigger lashes than normal.

I haven't watched the video but I've always applied my mascara that way!! I blink my mascara onto my lashes. Can't do it any other way! I actually just thought everyone did it this way! Ha! Ha! So I guess its confirmed....I'm definitely weird.
