It's an oil based haircolor rather than water based with NO AMMONIA. L'Oreal promotes it as a big breakthrough in color application. You have to find a salon in you area where they are trained to apply it. I went with her however and it looks like the normal way color is applied, left on the hair, rinsed out etc. In the Bay Area we had no problem finding many salons who do it. The price is equivalent to what I'm familiar with.</P> <P>I haven't tried it yet and would like comments from anyone who has.
